Wolves were magnificent against Blackpool. Yes they missed Charlie Adam and yes DJ Campbell’s red card made life easier for us, but let’s not let that detract from what was an excellent performance by us.

The whole team played well with Jamie O’Hara in particular standing out in a victory that took us out of the bottom three and made our goal difference column look much stronger. There are so many individual performances I could highlight, but I want to pay particular tribute to Richard Stearman.

Never before have I experienced such a dismal succession of last minute goals that have cost valuable points. The situation gets worse and worse.

This season has been a real emotional slog but it could be so different. If games lasted 87 minutes instead of 90, Wolves would have SEVEN more points and sit 12th in the table. Everyone would be saying how impressive it was that we had managed to progress from last season and we would all be looking forward to another year in the top flight.

It was the most amazing Premier League weekend I can remember and Wolves’ brilliant win over Manchester United was the show-stopper. As well as the 2-1 victory to end United’s 29-game unbeaten run we had a record number of goals scored, a record number of penalties, a team come back from 4-0 down to grab a point for the first time ever and one managerial sacking. There’s so much to talk about but only one place to begin – Molineux.
