When was the last time a club in any division, anywhere in the world, played three teams in a row all of which have claret and blue as their colours?

Wolves complete this oddity when they take on West Ham on Tuesday night following on from Burnley and Aston Villa. It's a future pub quiz question no doubt.

Personally I have got no idea of the answer.

But it has been nice having the question bouncing around my head instead of the stresses about fixtures, other teams' results and injuries, suspensions and interviews.
That's what a four point cushion does for you folks!

Out of these three games I set Wolves an optimistic target of four points. They have done it with one game to spare so anything we get at Upton Park will be a huge bonus.

The point against fourth-place chasing Villa was massive when added to Hull's capitulation against Portsmouth and Burnley's dour losing display against Wigan.

Still nervous, but quietly confident.
