Wolverhampton Wanderers

I can't remember a time when Wolves were good at defending or taking free kicks and corners.
Some of our rivals to stay in the Premier League are experts at both.
We need to sort it out before it hurts us even more that it has already.

On Saturday, poor marking from a corner let Pompey get something that they haven't had for seven weeks - a goal and all of the belief that comes with it.

It's just the basics of defending to not allow free headers so there's no reason why we should be letting that goal in.
If you fail to defend set pieces then you will concede and have to chase games.

The trouble is, some days you will find a great keeper in inspired form (David James).
Some days your striker will miss a chance that last season he would have buried (Ebanks-Blake).
Some days you won't be given a penalty despite a blatant handball in full view of the linesman (Wilson).

Then you lose 1-0 at home against a team with no previous wins in six outings.

Oh and by the way, that's the second certain penalty that we've been turned down in two games.

The refs haven't been on our side but this team needs to get better especially in the back. Ebanks-Blake has struggled when he's played and been disappointing so far in this campaign, the midfield is not turning opposition mistakes into opportunities and like you said the set pieces aspect of the game has them leaving lots of points out on the field. They need to get better in a hurry or with the big four coming up we'll be on single digits in points at Christmas.

I know they say that all these bad calls come good in the end, but I'm worried that they won't as who cares if Wolves get the crappy end of the stick, it's not like we're a Liverpool or ManU or anything.
