Well, we're in the thick of pre season and so far the injuries read Kightly, Doyle, Iwelumo and Jones.

Actually, I'm quite happy with that.

For years Wolves have prepared for the new season by racking up a list of serious injuries. Consider last time we got in to the Prem - Murray, Lescott and Miller were all missing at the start of the campaign. That's like Man Utd starting the season without Van Der Sar, Ferdinand and Rooney, or Chelsea without Cech, Terry and Drogba.

If minor knocks to Kightly and Jones and a hip niggle with Doyle are all we have to deal with, that's a big improvement. I feel sorry for big Chris but he's in recovery now and will have a part to play before long. At least it's a position where we've got good cover with the likes of Vokes.

James McCarthy is mulling over a move to the Golden Palace as I write this. He's got bags of potential so I hope we get him. Wigan are favourites according to the papers but now he's taken a tour of beautiful Wolverhampton, how can he refuse?

Oh and we're being linked with Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko who I know nothing about. Does anyone know what his record is like?

Until next time, I'll be everywhere and nowhere baby!
