Sunday was a funny game, Stoke once again came back from a deficit to record a win, their first away win of the season no less. Even though we got 3 points, the reaction from many was one of confusion and frustration as Pulis once again baffled with his team selection and set up.

An encouraging start to the League Cup campaign has seen us into the last 16 of the competition. With the big guns of Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool out along with a number of other Premier League clubs, some might argue this is our best chance of silverware in a long time and a win in the final would mean Stoke would be plying their trade in Europe next season for the first time in 38 years.

The day was booked off long ago, I hate it and I love it, I couldn’t sleep before it, would Stoke take good advantage of it? It was transfer deadline day.
