Considering this was a scoreless draw it was a pretty entertaining game with Stoke perhaps feeling a little unlucky not to come away with all 3 points - overall some decent football played too which was the best thing to come out of the afternoon...

Sorensen - played well, faultless performance - 8

Wilkinson - had a good enough game, there was one move where the winger got the ball right around him and he looked lost though. A couple more maraunding runs but poor final balls more often than not, deserves to keep his spot though for next week - 7.5

Shawcross - Good typical Ryan performance, hope he isn't badly injured - 8

Huth - Better game than last week, seemed to be talking lots and he and Shawcross were working well together - 8

Collins - Had a decent enough game actually but he doesn't half disappear sometimes and everytime he tackles he wins the ball but never comes away with it!! - 7.5

Lawrence - A steady and composed performance from Liam, exactly what we have been missing on the right, got tired towards the end and was a bit sloppy but good overall - 8

Whitehead - Probably his best performance to date, was actually getting forward plenty and was unlucky with his efforts on goal, now suspended for the next game - 8

Diao - Back to his best, didn't seem to tire, good range of passing and nicely composed - 8

Etherington - The man is on fire, he really is at the heart of every attack and looks supremely confident - 9

Mama - Good game for Mama, he had a few moments where he miscontrolled or overpassed the ball but he held it up well and layed it off well too - 8

Fuller - Another good game from Ric, looked up for it today and looked happy with Mama back alongside him - 8.5

Subs

Abdoulaye - Did ok after coming on for Ryan, lost quite a few headers, still not back to the God of last year but he will be soon hopefully - 7

Beattie - Still not looking interested for me, not nearly mobile enough and just not in the mood, a mystery - 6

Tuncay - Everyone is so desperate for the lad to succeed and a bit of nifty footwork had us all holding our breath but disappointing, got in Lawrence's way at one point which pissed Liam off and considering he had just come on he was surprisingly slow to close down play building from the back - 6.5

The Fans - Very loud, supported the lads well, there were one or two saying get Collins/Whitehead off after one bad pass but I've come to expect it now. Some good songs at how utterly poor the Blackburn fans were, I have never heard a quieter crowd!! - 8.5
