Serbia is preparing for the World Cup at their training camp in Austria, where they have been staying the last few days. The atmosphere and team spirit is rising day by day and this is key to the side's on field performances.

The Serbia squad -

The squad is united and the players are eager to get the campaign started. Serbia will play its first World Cup warm up game on Saturday when they take on New Zealand. It will be a good chance to see how confident the players are.

A majority of the players are coming into the World Cup in excellent form. Milos Krasic has had a breakthrough season with Russian side CSKA Moskva, reaching the Quarter Finals in the Champions League. The blonde winger scored some valuable goals, particularly his strike at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Nikola Zigic and Dejan Stankovic were the last players to join the squad. Deki is coming off a treble winning season while Zigic signed for Premier League side Birmingham City.

In past squads there has always been friction between the players. This side lacks that controversy and has the will to represent their nation in the highest regard with passion and pride. Antic's boys have shown Unity is the key to a successful side!

Serbia could be the most improved team in the world cup. Their talent and International Experience of their players, on the big clubs, could propel them to QTR Finals. Thery have all the ingredients to be well watched team this year. If they can trust each other on the pitch and keep their composure they will suprise many teams in WC.
