Queens Park Rangers

It's good to know Neil Warnock does not believe in the mercy rule.

Queens Park Rangers put on a shooting clinic at Tavistock AFC today, walloping the amateur outfit to the tune of thirteen unanswered goals.

Hogan Ephraim notched four goals and set up two others, Heidar Helguson scored a pair and Danny Shittu, Danny Webber, Petter Vaagen Moen, Patrick Agyemang, John James and even unlikely source Matt Connolly each added one of their own.

The rout marks another positive outing for former Portsmouth striker Webber, who looks likely to head back to Loftus Road at the end of the preseason road trip.

The most notable absence was of course Adel Taarbt, who remained in London to sort out his future with QPR. He has been tied with a move to Paris Saint Germain and Warnock confirmed he was left home to deal with the transaction:

"The ongoing transfer saga with PSG should come to a head shortly so we will know one way or another."
