So, I guess we have new owners. After the win, the first article I read wrote off Portsmouth and all their hopes of staying in the Premiership. I was so upset that I didn't read football news for two or three days. So, I was a little surprised to see that "Dr.Al-Fahim" was out and the Saudi Arabian oil-rich brothers Al-Faraj have completed the second takeover in as many months.
It's a little ridiculous to think that the last owner took months to complete the takeover and it always seemed to be an ongoing saga and then to wake up on a Tuesday morning to this. Already these owners are better off in my book than the last guy, simply because they did their job.
Peter Storrie has taken all the credit for the good fortune of the last few days and if it were up to me, I'd happily give it to him. Peter has done more for this club in the last three months than most execs ever do in a career. He's done this club proud and we're lucky to have him.
With the win we are off the mark in terms of points and things can only get better from here, we took all three against Wolves by way of an absolute beauty of a header by Yedba. Without doubt the best goal he's ever scored for the club.
That's all for now, more updates to come as the day progresses. There's sure to be news today.
And guess what, there was! According to Mark Jacob, lawyer for the new owners, Pompey staved off administration more than once in the last days of the shortest reign by an owner in Premier League history. Surely, this can't be much of a shock to anyone following the drama that has been unfolding over at Fratton Park. But, hopefully this will cool things down a bit in Portsmouth, although I would put money on there being more stories coming from this takeover. Stay tuned!

I just wonder if Portsmouth is worth the money and the effort. After the early play of the team, there seems to be no heart left in the lads. So where do they go from here? New ownership won't put fans in the seats - that takes winning. We'll see.
