My first post was exciting, but this is the greatest post I have ever written.
To be wholly truthful I thought this would be a bigger win, not that I'm complaining, but Glen Johnson looked like he'd get one or two early on and so did Peter Crouch. But nothing could be better than seeing Kanu put it in the back of the net.
Honestly, words can't describe the elation that a one-nil win has brought me. I just got home and watched it on my DVR, and probably woke the neighbours.
On the whole the game was fairly cagey, Pompey looked strong early and held that up until about five minutes from time. Bolton made a fairly good push in the last 10 minutes but Portsmouth proved too strong for Bolton.
The dark spot on Saturday's win was Niko Kranjcar's injury, it looked quite serious when it happened and hopefully it won't be too severe of a knock.
Now let's address my heroes of the game starting with good ole' Peter Crouch.
Petey was all over the place, he could've added one or two during garbage time and in the first few minutes too. He made a fairly routine performance but let's face it, he's Peter Crouch.
Second is Kanu. People will say that it was an own goal, or that it was over the line before he hit it. Forget them, it was glorious mate, simply glorious.
And last but by no means least, is Glen Johnson. Was he a full-back? Was he a midfielder? Was he a winger? I couldn't tell, up, down, all around. Glen Johnson is my Man of The Match, I hate to gush over someone other than Peter Crouch, but seriously folks, what a way to comeback from a suspension.
That's all for me folks. Play Up, Pompey. Play Up.

Glad to see the win. Even more glad to see the other losses which mean we're 6 points clear with 6 to play. Get to 40 points with one more win and I believe we're completely safe. I hope Niko's injury isn't as serious as it looked.
Also glad to see we're taking so many shots. The team is looking strong and confident and a win at Newcastle and home to Blackburn & Sunderland would not only mean we're staying up but could even finish as high as 11th or 12th.
Play Up Pompey!!!
Pompey Play Up!!!

I still believe Kanu should be used more often, perhaps start more games. He still has what it takes, and he could be the luck that pompey needs to survive this season.
