Another day, another round of Manchester City rumour... but this time with quotes! Crack open the bubbly!
The Independent carries a story with Emmanuel Adebayor calling on Kolo Toure to quit Arsenal and join City. Now we all know old Kolo and William Gallas don't exactly see eye to eye.
"We all know how good Kolo Touré is and I think the club need one good more good defender like him or John Terry. We all hope that it comes soon," he said. We think it could happen.
But Gael Clichy is not so nice. He accuses Adebayor of moving to Manchester City for the money in The Sun.
Also in The Independent, CEO Garry Cook dismisses claims that City have ruined the game with their big spending ways.
One player who does seem to be on the way out at the Emirates is Emmanuel Eboue. Fiorentina have been following him for some time and The Sun believes he will make the move for £6.5m.
The Daily Express claims several clubs are interested, and reckons the fee will be more like £9m.
Over at Liverpool and the increasing Spanish interest in their players. The Sun reports that a deal is done to take Alvaro Arbeloa to Real Madrid in a deal worth around £4.5m.
And the Daily Mirror says that Andrea Dossena is off. The Liverpool misfit could be heading to Napoli for a cut-price fee.
The Daily Express claims that Tottenham's move for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is being held up by the player's demands for a £4m payoff from Real Madrid.
And apparently Spurs' bid for Newcastle's Sebastien Bassong is on hold.... until Mike Ashley sells up! That could take a while. Read the Daily Express.
Martin O'Neill has again insisted there is no chance that Aston Villa will entertain any offers for England international Ashley Young. Read it in The Sun.
It seems that there's a battle on between Fulham and Everton, according to the Daily Mirror. The paper reports that both clubs want highly-rated Swedish youngster Rasmus Elm who plays for Kalmar. They have already rejected bids from Dutch club Heerenveen and Valenciennes of France.
Bobby Zamora, who is unsurprisingly hestitating on a move to Hull City, has been told it's £40,000-a-week or no deal. It's a hard life. The story is in The Sun.
The Daily Mirror reports the old news that Everton want Hull's Michael Turner. They also claim that Fulham could be interested too.
Bit of a surprise as a new signing made his debut for West Ham against Thurrock on Sunday. It was none other than Gianfranco's son, Andrea! It's in The Sun.
Portsmouth, meanwhile, are set to sign Steve Finnan and Hajduk Split's Nikola Kalinic, and that's in The Sun.
And finally... Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has been quick to praise good old English tucker in The Sun.
He said: "English food is roast beef and you have very, very, very good breakfasts. In Italy, it is only coffee and brioche. I even had Yorkshire pudding the other day and I thought it was really good. I can eat it but the players can't! Their diet is more controlled than mine."
