The paper talk today has more transfer speculation for the summer window, with Wigan winger Antonio Valencia ''inevitably'' going to Man Utd for £18m.
Various tabloids report Latics boss Steve Bruce's outpouring of grief over losing yet another of his top stars, but at least he'll get a cool bit of cash to spend on more South American unknowns.
United meanwhile are cornering the market in tricky wingers, but what does this deal mean for the future of Cristiano Ronaldo? Surely Real Madrid can't sign Ronaldo AND Carlos Tevez!
The Sun think that Madrid will make Tevez their priority (obviously having realised that Julien Faubert is the man to raid their right flank) and will offer the Argentine more than United. With the Old Trafford outfit ready to plant £75,000-a-week in Tevez's lap, that's a lot of wonga.
In other Spanish related news, Newcastle have been put on high alert as news emerges that Thierry Henry might be allowed to leave Barcelona.
According to the Sun Henry's days are numbered, despite an impressive season at the Nou Camp, as Barca are eyeing up a move for Bayern's Franck Ribery.
The figure reported is £25m, but the Spanish giants would be lucky given that Bayern have stated in recent times that Ribery is worth more than Kaka. £109m bid anyone?
Slightly further down the footballing tree, Birmingham are having some issues as the Daily Star report that they'll be losing winger Gary McSheffrey to Nottingham Forest once the loan window opens.
The Blues are also apparently in for Doncaster defender Matthew Mills to aid their promotion efforts, according to the Daily Mail, who also gleefully report that Joe Kinnear has said Charles N'Zogbia ''lives in a fantasy world''. Pot and kettle?
Staying with the Mail , Wolves are apparently trying to get England's Michael Mancienne back on loan from Chelsea. Well he's got to start playing if he's going to boost his England chances, hasn't he?
Finally, the Daily Record has the incredible news that former Leeds United defender Ian Harte has been forced to take up a switch to St Mirren.
The ex-Levante man has packed up his beach-towel and looks set to head to the cold climes of Scotland as he tries to seal a move to Celtic. We should also mention that he's tried, and failed, to get a move to about 32 clubs since returning to the country. So don't hold your breath.

T H has finally started to hit his stride at Barca (tho whether or not that's thanks to Messi & Dani Alves is debatable) but if it's Ribery for him, I'm f**king extatic!

Surely i love how Henry plays, but he has proven that he cant carry the team, failing to win with France without Zidane and Arsenal without Viera. He's almost overrated just because his disappearance in big games.

henry is finished as a force. tho he's still rank as one of my fav striker around. Barca has so many options going forward, hence surplus to requirements. Eto'o will stay, Bojan's comin up..

Theirry Henry is one of the best striker in the world despite his age. Barcelona will miss his speed and spirit. what ever english teams that buy him wont' regret. Arsenal should get him back.
