Real Madrid manager Juande Ramos has told Liverpool counter-part Rafa Benitez that he made a big mistake in letting a "top striker" like Robbie Keane leave Anfield.

Speaking ahead of next week's Champions League last-16 clash with the Reds, Ramos told The Sun: "You can't tell me Robbie will not score goals at a top club."

Liverpool forked out £20million for Keane last summer and former Tottenham Hotspur boss Ramos could not disguise his surprise at Liverpool's decision to sell him back to his old club for £12m just six months later.

"It was a lot of money to lose on Robbie over such a short space of time - especially in this market," Ramos said.

And in the Daily Telegraph the Spaniard was quick to remind Liverpool fans that despite the Reds' incredible success Real Madrid are still the better club.

"[Liverpool] are a massive European Cup club but the fact is we are bigger - bigger than anybody in this competition," said Ramos.

“Everybody knows about Liverpool’s successes but at the same time everybody knows we are the most famous and successful club in Europe."

Meanwhile, The Daily Star claim that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready sell the £20m-rated striker Emmanuel Adebayor to Barcelona after an indifferent season at the Emirates.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola has been a long-time admirer of the Togo international and, with Samuel Eto'o and former Arsenal legend Thierry Henry possibly moving on this summer, he will need a new striker.

Wenger blocked the Catalan club's bid to sign Adebayor last summer but is now ready to cut his losses and make a move for Real Madrid's disgruntled Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Daily Mirror claim it will cost Arsenal £15m to sign the Oranje international, who only left Ajax to join Madrid for £17m in January.

But Huntelaar has scored just one La Liga goal and the Bernabeu top brass are reported to be ready to cut their losses on the 25-year-old.

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is set for showdown talks with his bad boys from Brazil as he attempts to get to the bottom of Robinho and Elano's poor club form, according to the Daily Mail.

The duo were outstanding for Brazil last week but woeful for City in the 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth three days later and Hughes has become increasingly exasperated about his apparent inability to get through to duo.

Elano is expected to be dropped for Thursday's UEFA Cup clash in Copenhagen and Robinho, who has already been fined two weeks wages - roughly £320,000 - for leaving the club's mid-season training camp without permission last month, is walking a disciplinary tightrope after disregarding the club's dress code when he reported for duty at Manchester airport on Wednesday.

Yesterday Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson claimed Chelsea had blown their title chances by sacking manager Luiz Felipe Scolari and today Jamie Carragher also ruled the Blues out of the battle to win the Premier League.

"At the moment it looks like it is going to be us and Manchester United for the title," the Liverpool defender told The Times.

The Independent claim that Tottenham Hotspur's UEFA Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine will provide Pascal Chimbonda with the chance to heal a rift with Spurs fans.

The 29-year-old, who returned to the club in January, angered supporters when he stormed down the tunnel after being substituted in last season's Carling Cup final, and fans also remember the player missing the penalty against PSV Eindhoven less than two weeks later to send Spurs crashing out of Europe.

And finally... the future of the world's only football club owned by an online community, Ebbsfleet United, face an uncertain future unless 3,000 people subscribe today, according to The Guardian.

On 19 February 2008 Ebbsfleet were purchased by MyFootballClub.co.uk but a year on the majority of the site's 32,000 annual memberships are up for renewal and there is no disguising that what started as an online deluge has been reduced to a cyber trickle.

If adebayo is sold to Barcelona, That would be a good deal for arsenal and in replacement for him Huntalaar, Vagner Love of CSKA Moscow and David villa should be a good replacement because arsenal needs a good and powerful finisher.
