It's hardly been 24 hours, but already some of the papers have turned their attentions to who will be moving in the summer - Carlos Tevez, Ricardo Quaresma, maybe even Dimitar Berbatov if Spurs continue to turn the clock back.

First up, is the Daily Star who have Carlos Tevez moving to Real Madrid. As he’s only on loan at Man Utd it would mean the two clubs wouldn’t have to reignite their war of words after the Cristiano Ronaldo saga and, after United apparently didn’t take up their option on the striker, Madrid are ready to swoop with a £25m bid.

Quite what he would do at a club already sporting the likes of Raul, Klass Jan Huntelaar, Gonzalo Higuain and Ruud Van Nistelrooy remains to be seen. He’ll probably just end up sitting on the bench again.

The Daily Mirror have decided that Inter Milan are so keen to let their players join Chelsea that Didier Drogba will be next on the plane to even up the balance. Having signed Ricardo Quaresma on loan and, according to the Daily Mail, will pick him up permanently in the summer, Chelsea could cash in on the coin-chucking Ivorian.

Also in the Mail, two clubs (Portsmouth and Tottenham) attempted to try and snap up Lukas Podolski on loan on the final day of the transfer window. The German has been frozen out at Bayern and, despite already agreeing a deal to head back to Cologne in the summer, the English sides though they could change his mind by offering him a few months playing time.

You have to feel sorry for Pompey who failed to land a lot of their ambitious targets and ended up with Theofanis Gekas.

On some of the deals that have already gone through, most of the papers missed the fact that Andrei Arshavin’s deal HAS gone through and have instead decided to speculate that his details were not finalised on time.

The Telegraph claim that the Gunners bent the rules to sign the Russian, handing in his registration 23 hours late, and Aston Villa are mighty ticked off, especially if it means they don’t get that coveted Champions League spot.

Some of the tabloids are scrapping over the fee, with the The Daily Express assuring us that the Gunners will pay £10m, plus add ons. The Telegraph have gone for £15m, while Zenit have given us a breakdown on their website that rounds out to an eventual £16.9m. He’s definitely there though, because he’s got a shirt. #23 if you’re interested.

Robbie Keane, meanwhile, has been named as the new Tottenham skipper, with poor old Ledley King put out to pasture and given an honorary club captain role. Still, the Sun can’t get over the fact that Rafa Benitez wasted a cool £8m on the striker’s six month spell at Anfield and are pretty happy to report their findings.

In typical style, we have a breakdown of the stats. Keane cost £1.1m per goal, or a total of £5,070 a minute, after his £20.3m move. Nothing like sticking the boot in.

Another former Liverpool striker, Robbie Fowler, has apparently made it to Australia to sign for the comically named ''Fury''. The Daily Express say he'll play in the A-League next season, while the player himself thinks it will be ''first-class''. Oh you're in for a shock Rob.

The Sun have brought us the news that Everton manager David Moyes was shocked, stunned and appalled when young Victor Anichebe started to hurl a torrent of abuse at him during a training session. Ok, so he basically told him to F*** off*, but he has still shown a massive lack of respect to the boss and his days at Goodison look numbered.

Apparently Anichebe was upset over a loan move to Hull that collapsed, but with only one fit striker (and that’s Jo), Moyes might be forced to forgive the indiscretion in a bid to get one over on Rafa Benitez again. Or he could just carry on using Tim Cahill up front.
