The next time you struggle to catch what Wayne Rooney has just said in a post-match interview spare a thought for England manager Fabio Capello, who has admitted that he is having difficulty understanding what the northerners in his squad are saying because of their accents.
The Guardian picked up on an interview Don Fabio gave to Italian TV in which he also said that while he doesn't sing the national anthem - all though he could if he wanted - he did admit that "God save the Queen" gives him goosebumps.
While Capello might have a spot of trouble understanding players like Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Michael Carrick and Wes Brown he can think himself lucky that by most people's standards the afore mentioned speak the Queen's English compared to former England players like Jamie Carragher or Paul Gascoigne.
In other news on Saturday Arsenal's talisman-in-waiting Robin van Persie has warned the Gunners that he is getting cold feet over his new contract because he's not sure the club can match his ambitions.
The Sun report that while the talented yet temperamental Dutchman is happy with the cash on offer he is not happy with having only won one trophy - the FA Cup - in the last four years.
The Guardian also report the same story suggesting that RvP has been offered £70k-a-week, but despite that and the arrival of Andrei Arshavin Van Persie remains a troubled soul.
Welcome to the real world, Rob. Well done on the "money's not everything" stance (though being a millionaire at 25 does tend to take the edge off) but you don't get to win all the time, that's because it's sport and no matter who you play for success is not guaranteed. Unless, of course, you sign with the Harlem Globetrotters.
While the uncertainty surrounding Carlos Tevez continues news in The Mail could change things for the Argentine. It is reported that United target Karim Benzema has said he would rather move to Spain from Lyon than the Premier League.
If Benzema resists United's charms perhaps that will mean that Tevez could be tempted to stay - even if he remains behind Rooney and Berbatov in the pecking order. Time will tell.
The Express report that Chelsea, now certain that Guus Hiddink really is only here until the end of the season, are lining up a move to steal Gianfranco Zola and Steve Clarke from West Ham and bring them home to Stamford Bridge.
In The Times Rafa Benitez has warned the rest of the Premier League not to fall for the 'Untouchables' hype surrounding Manchester United.
Given that the Red Devils are five points clear at the top of the table and have not conceded a goal in their past 14 league matches Sir Alex Ferguson's boys do look untouchable, but Rafa wants teams to take points off United so is trying to rally troops to Liverpool's cause. Worth a try, I suppose.
And finally, The Mirror report that far from taking things easy, United have been warned by Fergie not to take their foot off the gas and blow the title as he claims happened in 1998 when his side were pipped by Arsenal.
"We don't need a rest. Our players are young, fit and fresh. We just have to make sure we keep our focus on every game. Every game for us from now on is a must-win," says Fergie. All sounds a bit ominous, doesn't it Rafa?
