I read Sol Campbell's view on Arsenal's situation and he talked of 100 million investment is needed. I think if they really wanted to show RVP they want the same thing, ending the trophy drought, they need only make one big signing and that could get RVP to re-sign which would get Walcott to re-sign. That signing would be fellow Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder, who has falling out at Inter. Sneijder would fit right in to Wenger's style and would fit into the role he perfer's in the hole just off Van Persie. A role that Ramsey or Arteta fail to deliver in last season. I'm aware it's not Arsenal's policy to buy players over 27 years old but six years going on seven of seeing top talent leave and be replaced by lesser talent is going to finally dilute the Arsenal player pool to the point where Arsenal fans would be lucky to be hoping for a Champions League place this time next year.

Quote: "Rodrigo Romano: The info I have on the weekend will close the transfer of Gaston Ramirez at Liverpool for 20 million Euros."

Tonight it has been revealed that Liverpool are going to secure the services of Uruguayan midfielder, Gaston Ramirez, from Bologna for a fee in the region of €20million over the weekend.

Romano is a highly trustworthy source, with links to Uruguayan footballers because of his work on Gol TV, and being a sports journalist since 1994.

Up barca, we waiting RVP

Walcott is crap. Sell him now before people figure out he is a fraud.

6 million for Aquiliani! That's got to be a joke..

Talks are flying around about Liverpool are going to tie up the deal for Gaston Ramirez & that a bid have been made to sign Daniel Sturridge. Besides, Brendan Rodgers has not given up on a deal to bring Fabio Borini to Liverpool. If all the above are true, then we can start to feel optimistic. However, I still fancy Adam Johnson. In my opinion, BR should bring in Ramirez, Sturridge & Johnson, then we can get the party started. With the addition of Sturridge & Johnson, BR can always tinker his formations, be it 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Also, with the above additions, Liverpool's attack will be improved significantly & Gerrard should play in a more playmaking roles, dictating the play, rather than over rely him in attack which was the case in the past 2-3 seasons,

Arsenal Times have just tweeted:

Rumors that Arsenal have accepted a £13m bid for RVP plus David Villa. Should be announced in next 48 hours.

This would be incredible if true!!!!!

@ Stoopid American: RvP hates sneider. Signing him would convince RvP to leave ASAP.

Arsenal are likely to be an also ran next season if RVP goes, quickly followed by Theo.
Financial fair play is a joke and the club cannot even play in that league if they do not invest. How many Captains will leave before the Board gets the message....Spend or Die

Posted by Patrick on 07/11/2012

No one is indispensable at Arsenal... Wenger sold Viera, Petite, Henry, Overmars, Anelka, Flamini... Wenger proved he can still build a team without spending crazy money for the past seasons...

RVP and Theo can go if they want... I don't think Wenger will fuss about it as long he can find good replacements. But "There's only one Thierry Henry and Fabregas!"

Good luck!
Liverpool Fan.

Gunners can winner trophy without RVP....players come and go but Arsenal still remains.. Gunners for life

RVP and Theo ar not doing what we the fans fill they should be doing right now when we fill that the board even the coach is working towards the right direction,Theo and RVP ar showing to the world how wicked and selfish they ar just last season that things went well for RVP all he could do now is to put millions of the fans on an eadge making the fans to be unhappy after so many years of support we have given him all this while he use to play few matches and the remaining season he will be injured we we still believed him to do well in the future right now all he have proven to us all is that he is not to be trusted and both of can leave gunners will move on.

Izale MacLeod is class, good pickup for Pompey he should keep them out of League 2

Posted by Will Willows on 07/16/2012

Milan should pick up Berba as a replacement for Ibra. Ibra - Berba. I will guess he could score the same amount of goals. Nice pick up for Pompey of Izale. Good player. Andy Carroll. Where? Who can afford him? West Ham will want him cutrate. Newcastle will reckon to spend less than half what they got for him. Liverpool are in pickle.
