Is Wenger leaving his January transfer buys to the last possible second, as he did in the summer? He must be because I cannot fathom that he will not make any purchases. If he doesn't, I gaurantee RVP will not re-sign and Arsenal will be left to mid table mediocrity for years to come.

Will Willian be a good option for Chelsea?
I say Yes but at the end of the season, he is a winger who is cup tied and Chelsea need a forward like Edinson Cavani, who has an eye for goal as Fernando Torres is not getting Chelsea the goals. Buying Kevin De Bruyne will also be a good deal as he has a bright future in football.
Any news on Eden Hazard

Villas boas should forget about willian not able to play in champions league, atlest he can play in other league in england

Any truth the rumors of an Arsenal swoop for Hazard? I read its 25 mil, plus Squillaci, Arshavin, and Chamakh. Doesn't seem likely, but I'd gladly give up some cash and trash for Hazard. Please tell me this has legs.

Posted by Dan on 01/26/2012

Who would you rather have at your club, Xherdan or Willian?

Very similar players I reckon, maybe a half step below Hazard in valuation, but in potential, all 3 seem to be very similar; well rounded, exciting footballers.

Anyone have a comparison of the three in terms of pace, crossing, finishing, passing?

Posted by Tomtom on 01/26/2012

This is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Arsenal needs a replacement for both wingers in my opinion. Walcott shouldn't ask for the 85000 or whatever it is per week unless he actually plays like he's worth it. Arshavin is a no-brainer. He might fit in with France's second tier. If Henry is back at Arsenal, then why isn't he playing? Oxlade's performance against United was better than Walcotts season.

Bolton have made some very good loan deals in the past. Lets see if Owen Coyle has another marquee loan deal this time in a bid to avoid relegation. The name mentioned is Raheem Sterling. That guy has loads of pace and great skill but another Liverpool youngster 'Suso' should excite him. I would still ask Coyle to add a defender.

Posted by Adam on 01/26/2012

Would love to see Sterling go out on loan to Bolton. The boy has huge potential, and I'm not alone in wanting to see what he could in the top flight. Get it done, Coyle!

Posted by Mike on 01/26/2012

Ayre's comment on the Liverpool transfer situation really leaves him to be second-guessed. He obviously has not seen our goal scoring record lately, 6 goals in the last 10 premier games. Sign Jelavic, the opportunity is there. You lost on the Moussa Sow bid, so Jelavic is the next striker that could improve our scoring. Either that or get Teixera, Van Wolfswinkel, someone to replace Andy and help Suarez in his return.

Posted by Trevor on 01/28/2012

With Krasic saying he wants a move to England, and with Wilshere having an injury setback, I think Wenger should spend some more of the Nasri/Fabregas money and buy a really good midfielder to play along Song and Ramsey
