23.59 GMT: That's all folks. More of the same tomorrow and every day for the rest of January. Stay tuned.
23.55 GMT: Lucas Barrios is known to want out of Dortmund, but unless someone comes in with some big cash then he'll be staying. Lucky Malaga are loaded then eh? €10 million should be enough to persuade the Germans to let him leave and they have reportedly slammed this much down on the negotiating table according to Bild.
23.41 GMT: Fulham are being linked with a £3m move for highly-rated Crystal Palace full-back Nathaniel Clyne, although the likes of Newcastle are also on his trail.
23.00 GMT: French radio station RMC says that Tottenham are keen to swap Roman Pavlyuchenko with Marseille's Loic Remy. Not often we see swap deals, so will keep an eye on how that one pans out...
22.40 GMT: Defender Ivar Ingimarsson has left Ipswich. "He's terminated his contract," Manager Paul Jewell told reporters. "We came to an agreement with him and his agent early last week. It just hasn't worked out for him or for us."
22.27 GMT: Sambafoot reports that Sao Paulo defender Bruno Uvini will travel to Italy this week to sort of his EU passport details, ahead of a €3 million move to Genoa.
21.53 GMT: Daniele De Rossi is going nowhere. "In my opinion, [De Rossi] will remain at Roma. In football, it is a lifestyle and money is not the only thing considered," said Luis Enrique at a press conference on Saturday. "The player will choose his own future but he's fine here and I do not see why he should go away. A sale in January? I exclude it."
21.04 GMT: Norwich fans could be in for a slow month. Manager Paul Lambert said: “We’ve tried to get people in. But I just don’t want to bring people in if they’re just going to make up the numbers. I want people to come in to give us a hand and at the minute nothing is happening.”
Asked if there was any position he was looking to strengthen in particular, he added: “I’m just looking for everywhere really, for all over the field of play. I’m not so sure [if we’ll spend any money]. I’ll do what I can do but I’ll have to wait and see.”
20.29 GMT: Despite suffering a fitness setback, Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen is attracting the attention of various MLS clubs at the tender age of 34.
20.05 GMT: Not much you can do when another manager reveals that your star player has a release clause of £10 million is there? Well this is what Newcastle's Alan Pardew had to say about Demba Ba: "He's a Newcastle player, he has been brilliant for us and that's all I want to say, really."
19.40 GMT: Sporting Gijon coach Manuel Preciado has played down his club's interest in signing Dos Santos from Spurs as €10 million is too much for them to pay.
19.06 GMT: Lionel Messi says that he NEVER wants to leave Barcelona. Shame, there could be a few clubs who are interested in him. "I'm at the best club in the world, no other team could fulfil me as much as Barcelona does; I hope to stay here until they get tired of me, which is hopefully never," he told Marca. "I grew up at La Masia and I am a man made at Barca."
18.43 GMT: Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has ruled out a move for Huddersfield's striker Jordan Rhodes. He said: "No, he's a great player but not for Tottenham. We haven't made any offers. It's difficult, we've already got a good squad and there's no need to bring anyone in unless they can go straight in and improve the team."
He also said Giovani Dos Santos will leave during the January transfer window, claiming: "I think he'll probably move but it's got to be the right offer. bHe's looking to move and we'll see what happens this window."
18.26 GMT: Raul, 34, has confirmed he wants to sign a new contract at Schalke. His current deal expires at the end of the season but he told Bild: "I wish to continue to play at Schalke. Whether for one or two years is not decisive. I am confident and optimistic that we can reach an agreement. I'm assuming that it will not take too long. I feel very well - my head is clear and only with Schalke."

17.33 GMT: Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill is not expecting anyone to leave in January despite speculation over Stephane Sessegnon and Kieran Richardson. "I obviously want to keep players at the football club," he said. "If there is anyone desperately unhappy and there is nothing we can do about that and something arrives in January then I will give that some consideration, but the main point would be trying to stabilise things rather than letting people go.”
17.11 GMT: Istanbul BB winger Edin Visca says he is delighted to be linked with Arsenal. "I am very proud that such a big club is interested in me," Visca told KiP. “Who wouldn't be happy about that? But the truth is, right now I am an Istanbul BB player and that means I cannot think too much about the Gunners. Until something concrete happens, I will only think about Istanbul BB as I want to play in Turkey and be as good as I can.”
16.35 GMT: AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani provides a less than illuminating insight into the Carlos Tevez negotiations. "We have an agreement with the player; now there's an ongoing negotiation with Manchester City and we expect an answer," he told Sky Sport Italia.
16.11 GMT: Martin Jol says Fulham won’t sell striker Andrew Johnson unless a significantly improved bid comes in. QPR are said to have offered £2 million for the 30-year-old but Jol said: "What's the point for us - for Fulham, for my club - to sell a player for that sort of money? To get somebody will cost a lot more money so for me there is no problem. He is still under contract so we have to wait and see. If somebody wants him they have to pay a good transfer fee so we can buy another good player.”
15.45 GMT: Harry Redknapp doesn’t seem to want anyone to leave Spurs despite having a host of unhappy players. "The odd game here and there won't be enough to keep them happy, but what can you do? You have got to have a big squad,” he said.
"Danny Rose came to see me and asked if he could go on loan, but I can't because if Benoit [Assou-Ekotto] gets injured, he is in. Gomes wants to move but I don't want him to go as we will need three keepers. You never know, you might get an injury and none of them are young.
"Pienaar is a good player, but he has not been in the team. It is hard to keep them happy, but they are important players still.”
15.17 GMT: CSKA Moscow have signed 19-year-old Nigerian winger Ahmed Musa from VVV-Venlo for €5 million.

Losing him in January is not an option.”

"If he is available, Arsenal should sign Gourcuff. He'll let some of the pressure of van Persie, and can be an option on the wing.
Arsenal should also make a loan bid for Taiwo at Milan.
Are you listening, Arsene????"
12.26 GMT: Corriere dello Sport thinks Inter Milan are desperate to land Carlos Tevez and, while like AC Milan they are only offering an initial loan deal, the Nerazzurri's option to buy would be raised to €27 million and with higher wages on offer. Football Italia reports that the Italian press are unanimous in claiming Milan are furious with Inter.
11.50 GMT: One line that slipped through the net yesterday - Wigan have announced that they have cancelled Patrick van Aanholt's season-long loan from Chelsea. He's not featured since October 1 and it was decided that it was in both clubs' best interests for him to return to Stamford Bridge.
