19.57 GMT Here's West Brom manager Roy Hodgson commenting on rumours surrounding Baggies striker Peter Odemwingie: "There is no truth in it. We've had no contact with Fulham - or any other club - regarding Peter. He is not a player we want to sell and the story is a bit of a waste of breath to be honest. I've said many times that we don't want to sell Peter."

18.23 GMT Didier Drogba has reportedly told the French media he won't be leaving Chelsea in January. "Not before next June," he said. "I'd like to find more fun, chills, fervour, passion and pressure on the field." Drogba has been linked to a highly lucrative move to China, with rumours of a £270,000/week offer from Shanghai Shenhua.
17.40 GMT Here's what QPR chief executive Tony Beard had to say to Sky Sports News about the club's potential transfer activity this month: "January is a difficult month to do business but the crazy thing is that some of the numbers that appear, in transfer fees and wages, are just madness. Some of the numbers discussed I can tell you are way out of anything we would be looking to do. Any deals we are doing will be right for QPR , right for the player and will be sensible. We want to bring one or two players in to strengthen an already strong squad. But we're not going to do any silly business in January."
