21.24 DONE DEALS Sunderland defender John Egan has joined Crystal Palace on a short-term loan deal. Palace have also snaffled up Norwich striker Chris Martin and Doncaster Rovers' Mustapha Dumbuya on loan.
21.00 TWITTER TALK Some BIG Wayne Rooney speculation expected in tomorrow's Indepedent. The suggestion on Twitter is that they're running a story claiming Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to let Rooney leave the club. I can absolutely guarantee more on that tomorrow.
20.34 Here's Michael Ballack on his decision to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season. "I signed on here for two years and it was clear for both parties from the very beginning that it was only planned for this period of time. I then intended to do something different. I am not going to give up playing altogether. I have never said that. I still have six more months to consider my situation and I will do that without any pressure.''
19.54 ESPN.com are reporting that Bolton have made a formal offer for New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream. Here's a line from Leander Schaerlaeckens' article. "The sides are close to an agreement, with the transfer fee likely worth somewhere between $2.5 million and $3 million, according to a source close to negotiations. Incentives for game appearances could inflate the final value of the deal."
19.23 Nice bit of research from the folks at Vital Football, who've worked out that Carlos Tevez would be a mile closer to his family in Buenos Aires if he does indeed join AC Milan. That's worked out based on flights from Manchester MAN and Milan MXP to Argentina. Brilliant work.
18.52 Manchester United youngsters Michael Keane and John Cofie have reportedly agreed loan deals with Belgian side Antwerp. The two clubs have fostered a strong relationship over the years, and Antwerp have previously benefitted from the loan services of Jonny Evans, John O'Shea, Lee Martin and Darron Gibson, amongst others.
18.27 Vagner Love's agent has revealed his player's anger at CSKA Moscow turning down a 10 million euros offer from Flamengo. “We were upset," Evandro Ferreira said. "They promised they would facilitate the deal, but they placed a high price tag." CSKA said the offer was "inadequate".
17.50 Werder Bremen's Claudio Pizarro says there is "no rush'' for him to make up his mind about his future. The striker has six months left on his current deal, and has been linked to a host of Europe's top clubs. "Sooner or later, an offer will come and I will take my time to consider it," he said.
17.23 Martin Jol on QPR's reported bid for Andrew Johnson: "What's the point for us, for Fulham, for my club to sell a player for that sort of money? To get somebody will cost a lot more money so for me there is no problem. He is still under contract so we have to wait and see. 16.12 GMT DONE DEAL: Hibernian have secured the services of Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths until the end of the season.
16.03 GMT Blackburn boss Steve Kean admits he may be forced to cash-in on Junior Hoilett, one of the few impressive performers for Rovers this season. Hoilett is out of contract in the summer and available on a free transfer.
"If there is a bid that comes in then we would obviously have to consider that, and the fact that he hadn't signed [a new deal]. But no bids have come in," Kean said.
