England and Chelsea captain John Terry is a transfer target for China's top two clubs, Shanghai Shenhua and Guangzhou Evergrande, according to the Sunday Express. The Chinese duo are believed to be ready to offer Terry a loan or short-term deal on up to £200,000 a week, provided Chelsea can be persuaded to let him go.

The Daily Star Sunday claim that Theo Walcott and Arsenal are at WAR over his demand for a new £85,000-a-week, four-year deal. That’s put the England winger’s long-term Emirates future in real doubt - and alerted Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool as well as mega-rich French outfit PSG and Italian giants Juventus.

However, Arsenal are believed to be preparing a £10 million transfer bid for Lukas Podolski, amid reports the FC Cologne striker has fallen out with the club's director of sport, Volker Finke. Full story

The Mirror report that Qatar-based club Al-Sadd are ready to match Queen Park Rangers’ £15 million valuation of unhappy midfielder Adel Taarabt. The 22-year-old was a target for Paris Saint Germain, but his price-tag put them off.

And QPR boss Neil Warnock is ready to spend the cash as part of a swoop for up to four new players in January to boost his "small squad".

The Sunday Mail suggests Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could swoop for Manchester City's Wayne Bridge on loan after Thomas Vermaelen suffered a calf problem against QPR.

The People claims Liverpool are lining up a £24 million move for Aston Villa's Darren Bent as they look to bolster their frontline.

The Daily Star Sunday reports Newcastle are monitoring Montpellier’s France Under-21s defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, although they have ended their interest in Olivier Giroud.

Also today, Lille midfielder Joe Cole has hinted he would like to make his move to France a permanent one when his loan deal from Liverpool expires at the end of the season. Full story

The Mail on Sunday claim Liverpool are planning a shock raid for England and Aston Villa striker Darren Bent. Kenny Dalglish will test Villa's resolve with a £24 million bid in the coming weeks as the Anfield boss looks to add firepower for the second half of the season.

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has admitted he has been in contact with AC Milan and former club Inter as the transfer season swings into action. Full story

Lukas Podolski to Arsenal that will make them very strong up front.

very good if they pick-up Wayne Bridge on loan
John Terry should go to real madrid and play at top level.

Arsenal is high time we buy a quality players not quantity. We can buy a good striker like higuain and also a left and right full backs even a good central defender who can partner with Thomas Vermaelen all the time to secure all the goals will scored in every matches will play without conceding unnecessary goals all the tym.

The fact that Mancini is demanding is proof of how poor of a manager he is. Buying more big name players, because thats all they do, just ruins careers and hinders national team looks, especially with Euro coming up this summer.

As for Arsenal, they obviously are going to wait till the last moment to make their purchases because thats what they do. I expect 1 striker (other than Henry), and maybe a defender or midfielder. Not much because this summer is when they will be looking to spend more with Hazard and others on the market
