21.02 Napoli have exercised their option on Edinson Cavani and signed him outright. They will pay Palermo 16 million euros over four years.
20.24 Sky Sport Italia claiming that Juventus are speaking to the agent of Bayer Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal this evening. Napoli also like him.
20.18 Zenit are looking for a new defender and Italy's Domenico Criscito is on the list. "I can tell you that Zenit are looking to strengthen the squad, as we have already said before. Criscito may be one of our targets," manager Luciano Spalletti told RIA Novosti.
19.28 Celtic have failed to sign keeper Fraser Forster from Newcastle. “Newcastle have said at the minute he is not for sale but we will pursue that avenue further if we can,” manager Neil Lennon told BBC Sport.
18.39 French champions Lille have made a signing from Lokomotiv Moscow. "The Montenegrin defender Marko Basa has officially joined LOSC for a four-year duration. He will be wearing the Lille colours until 2015," read a statement.
18.20 Wolves chief Jez Moxey is toughening up his stance on transfers as he said: "We have got feelers out to a number of clubs - so we either start getting serious now or we move on. We are now telling clubs to make a decision. We need to get things done and what we're saying is 'if you don't want to do business, we'll forget it and move on."'
17.41 Rangers defender Steven Whittaker has rejected a ''substantially improved'' new contract amid continued interest from Turkish club Bursaspor, according to his agent.
16.42 Lyon full-back Aly Cissokho's agent met with officials from Manchester City on Monday, say France Football. He'll cost upwards of £20 million.
16.12 Aston Villa are set to join the bidding for Kenya midfielder Victor Wanyama, say Skysports. Celtic are reported to have agreed a fee with his current club, Belgian side Germinal Beerschot, ahead of a transfer.
15.54 Swansea's audacious move for Marcos Senna is in choppy waters as Villarreal want to keep him. "We would like him to stay, although we know that the player is free to accept the best offer," general manager Jose Manuel Llaneza said. "This weekend he will be in Spain and it's time to talk and see what can be done."
15.38 Manchester United, Tottenham and Juventus are all thought to be interested in signing Lassana Diarra, but agent John Williams says his client is happy at the Bernabeu. "Contrary to what is being said, Lass does not want to leave Real Madrid," Williams told talksport. "He has two years left on his contract and is feeling well in Madrid. I have not opened negotiations with any club in either England or Italy, but if there is a great offer then we'll study it." The last bit, is of course, the key to it all.

15.22 Kaiserslautern have confirmed the signing of Greece Under-21 international Konstantinos Fortounis for an undisclosed fee.
15.05 New Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has made Scotland winger Craig Conway his first signing. He was out of contract after leaving Dundee United.

14.27 PSV Eindhoven defender Abel Tamata has signed a new three-year contract at the Philips Stadion.
14.10: Ashley Young has signed for Manchester United from Aston Villa in a deal thought to be worth around £15 million. The winger has signed a five-year contract with and becomes United's second summer signing after Phil Jones joined from Blackburn earlier this month. Full story here
13.36:Bolton are set to offer Zimbabwe Under-23 striker Matthew Rusike a trial at the club and he is currently trying to gain a visa to enable him to travel to England.
13.19: Kaiserslautern have signed teenage attacking midfielder Konstantinos Fortounis, widely considered one of Greek football's hottest prospects.
13.01: Parma have acquired half the sporting rights of Italian midfielder Sebastian Giovinco from Juventus in a deal worth €3 million.
12.43: Former Liverpool forward Djibril Cisse will only join Lazio this summer if the club can offload one of its strikers.The Italians have held talks with Panathinaikos about signing him but the deal is on hold.
"He will only arrive if one of our strikers leaves," Lazio president Claudio Lotito told Corriere dello Sport. "We have seven strikers in our team so he would be a replacement if one of them leaves."
12.22: Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has revealed that Uruguay striker Diego Forlan is looking for a move back to the Premier League. Cerezo said: "Diego will decide what happens, but it looks like his first choice will be England." Full story here
12.03: Folha de S. Paulo in Brazil claims agent Pini Zahavi made a €35 million bid for Neymar on behalf of Chelsea on Friday. It's about the same as Real Madrid's offer, apparently, but Santos are holding out for the full €45 million release clause.
1148: Tranmere Rovers manager Les Parry has confirmed Bayern Munich have made an undisclosed offer for teenage striker Dale Jennings. Parry said: "I'm not too sure how close it is, but it's moving along. It's not just paper talk, they have put a bid in.
"They're keen to get him over there and it's a great move for the lad. I've spoken to him and he's interested. Who wouldn't be? If you look back at the number of young players who have had the chance to go abroad to one of the giants of Europe, there's very few English players who have done that. It's a fantastic opportunity for him."
11.23: Barcelona remain ahead of Man City in the race to sign Alexis Sanchez according to Udinese owener Giaanpaolo Pozzo. "Barcelona are ahead of City," Pozzo told Gazzetta dello Sport. "But the player has not expressed a big preference between the two clubs. Of course, we will consider his opinion. The deal is not done because there are still details yet to iron out."
11.06: Marco Borriello has joined Roma on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell at the club last season. A statement from Roma read: "Roma announces it has exercised the clause to acquire the sporting rights of Marco Borriello. For this permanent acquisition, Roma will pay AC Milan €10 million."
10.48: Spanish defender Carlos Cuellar has appeared to move a step closer to a return to Rangers, with Villa admitting they are happy to sell him. The Midlands' club want £3 million for him, but the Gers have opnly offered £1.5 million so far. Full story here.
10.32: Jerome Boateng is trying desperately to push through a move from Manchester City to Bayern Munich. He's actually already agreed a four-year deal with the Bavarians, despite no fee being agreed as yet between the clubs. Full story here.
10.18 The Lancashire Telegraph is reporting that Roma are going to attempt to hi-jack Blackburn's bid to lure Jermaine Jones to the club from Schalke on a permanent basis.
10.02: We're still waiting on news of the completion of Ashley Young's £15 million move to Man Utd. United striker Michael Owen was pleased to hear of the winger's signing yesterday, writing on Twitter: "I see Ashley Young has undergone a medical today. Let's hope everything goes well as he would be a great signing for us."
09.49: Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo says the club will complete the signings of Bordeaux midfielder Alou Diarra and Monaco defender Nicolas Nkoulou in the next few days.
09.33 Liverpool may give up on trying to land Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing as they are apparently interested in a £13.5 million for St Etienne's Dimitri Payet instead.
09.14 Europa League hotshot Falcao has said he would be keen on following Andre Villas-Boas from Porto to Chelsea. The Blues would have to shell out €30 million for his services though. Full story here.
09.03: Marca has gone big on the Copa Libertadores with 'The King Neymar' as its headline and references galore to the fact he will likely be joining Real Madrid.
08.53: Lens defender Raphael Varane has signed for Real Madrid, according to the French club's president Guy Martel. The teenager had also reportedly been the subject of interest from Man Utd. Full story here
08.50: Looking around Europe now and AC Milan have announced they have signed Kevin-Prince Boateng and Alberto Paloschi on a permanent basis from Genoa.
08.43: Plenty of talk about Neymar in the wake of his goalscoring performance in Santos' Copa Libertadores win last night. talkSPORT reckons that he will snub interest from Chelsea to go to Real Madrid and Pele has advised the young forward to do just that as the Premier League is apparently too rough.

The Sun: Manchester City are on the verge of signing Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho for £20 million; Inter Milan have given up on signing Carlos Tevez because his wage demands are too high; West Brom have stressed that star striker Peter Odemwingie is not for sale; Chelsea will demand £5 million for highly-rated young left-back Ryan Bertrand.
Daily Mirror: Chelsea are set for a £70 million summer clearout with Andre Villas-Boas apparently looking to move on Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, John Obi Mikel, Michael Essien, Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou, Alexis Sanchez will NOT sign for City and is holding out for a move to either Man Utd or Barca - in fact he rejected the chance to come to England for talks at Eastlands; Liverpool are still hopeful of signing Arsenal full back Gael Clichy and he is keen on a £5 million move, despite the Gunners not wishing to sell to a Premier League club.
The Metro: Ipswich striker Conor Wickham will snub Sunderland as he is holding out for a move to Liverpool or Arsenal; Man City are back in with a chance of Alexis Sanchez as Barca starlet Jeffren has rejected the chance to join Udinese as part of a deal for the winger.
