18.14 Genoa have revealed that they rejected the chance to sign French goalkeeper Sebastien Frey after being offered him by Fiorentina.
Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca told firenzeviola.it: “It was the Viola club who offered us the player and not his agent. However, at the moment, we don’t need a player like Frey as we already have an excellent goalkeeper in Eduardo.”
