17.35 Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti has confirmed the club are keeping tabs on Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini. "Pazzini is a player to look to with interest because he has great qualities," Moratti said. "We are considering the possibility of a deal but I don't know if we'll be able to do it."

17.26 Everton striker James Vaughan has returned to Crystal Palace on loan. The youngster has rejoined the Eagles for a second time this campaign after snubbing interest from Burnley and Celtic.

16.19 Ajax coach Frank de Boer has told Liverpool they have until Saturday to make an acceptable offer for Luis Suarez, or the club won't sell him.

16.16 The Italian press are linking Aston Villa and Everton with a swoop for Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri. However, Villa boss Gerard Houllier has said he doesn't expect to sign anybody esle in the transfer window.

14.23 Wolves have agreed a £150,000 deal to sign Dundee strike Leigh Griffiths, although the Premier League club are not expecting him to make an immediate impact. “Look, with the greatest respect to Leigh, I don't want anyone thinking we are signing a Premier League striker that is going to come in and rip it up at the moment because that is not the case,” manager Mick McCarthy said.

14.08 BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea's promising young midfielder Gael Kakuta has joined Fulham on loan.

13.58 BREAKING NEWS: West Ham have confirmed that Valon Behrami has joined Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee.

13.51 Radio station talkSPORT details how reports in the Swiss press claim Lazio are interested in signing Johan Djourou from Arsenal. Given he has carved out an established place in the first team and Arsenal have only two fit defenders, this sounds distinctly unlikely to us, and that’s putting it kindly.

13.33 Barcelona star Dani Alves has been linked with a move to Manchester City recently, and it is believed that if he does leave Camp Nou, Ajax right back Gregory van der Wiel could be his replacement in Pep Guardiola’s side.

13.08 In Italy, the press are linking Inter Milan with a possible move for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini, while Udinese’s much-vaunted Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez is also under consideration. There are plenty of alternative candidates to strengthen the Inter attack, including Feyenoord wonderkid Luc Castaignos.

12.01 Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss has said he would consider extending his loan deal at Rangers into another season. "I'm enjoying Rangers and what happens next season is a question of what Manchester City want to do," Weiss said in the Daily Record. "There are a lot of good players but if you want to play at the biggest level you have to try to progress in the better squads. I said before I don't want to do a loan again but probably Rangers would be the only club I would go on loan to."

11.47 Madrid-based daily As reports Real Madrid will offload Mahamadou Diarra having signed Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from Manchester City on Tuesday night. They need to make space in their squad for the temperamental Togolese striker.

10.53 Arsene Wenger has all but ruled out any new signings, he tells his club's official website.

10.46 Milan Jovanovic is a legacy of the Rafa Benitez regime who has not worked out, and there is some dispute over his future. It is suggested he is wanted by Wolfsburg, who are very active indeed in this window, and then there are quotes from the player himself suggesting that he may stay and play under Kenny Dalglish. Judging by the Ryan Babel case of Monday, that signals to us that he's off. Story here.

10.19 Lower-division ace Charlie Austin is staying at Swindon, according to beleagured boss Danny Wilson.

09.57 Wolfsburg have agreed a deal to sign Dieumerci Mbokani on loan to scupper Everton's hopes of landing the Monaco striker. "Dieumerci Mbokani will be joining VfL Wolfsburg," the Wolfsburg's general manager Marc Keller told Allgemeine Zeitung. "He has already been travelling to the club."

09.37 Harry Harris has some inside stuff from West Ham: "Sunderland have indicated they would offer £3.5m for Frederic Piquionne only to be immediately rejected by West Ham United. The offer arrived via an agent but was dismissed out of hand by the Hammers, who have no intention of selling Piquionne, although Sunderland have shown interest in Carlton Cole in the past, but the England striker has shown no interest in them. Steve Bruce has been scouring the market to find a replacement for Darren Bent after his £24 million sale to Aston Villa. Sunderland are trying to seal moves for Ricardo Fuller from Stoke City but Bruce is eager for another striker signing and has shown interest in Birmingham's Cameron Jerome, which has sparked unrest with manager Alex McLeish who insists his striker must stay at St. Andrews."

08.15 Time to round up the rest of the revelations, or otherwise.

Sir Alex Ferguson's gambit that Charlie Adam is worth more than £10 million may be right, according to the Daily Mirror, who say Blackpool actually want £12 million for him. Anger on Merseyside at that, though he still needs to work on his fitness if last night is a guide. Paul Green of Derby and Ireland is the replacement

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, will cost ya loads, say the Daily Star.

Augero, luiz and Sanchez + the current squad=world domination.spend but keep the youths!! we can still win ,many things this year but at some point we may have to take the backseat in the league for the team to get back its chemistry between young old and new players. Blue for life
