23.11: Phil Brown remains "very confident" of retaining the services of midfielder Stephen Hunt. He scored against Wolves today, the very club that has been trying so hard to prise him from Hull.
22.33: It looked as though Manchester City were poised to sign defender Marco Motta from Roma but now Sunderland have emerged as rivals for his signature. That could be one to watch before the window closes on Monday.
21.54: After already admitting defeat in his attempts to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko, Alex McLeish has now stated that Birmingham will not be signing Aruna Dindane after failing to reach agreement with Lens.
21.28: West Ham owner David Sullivan has claimed the club are closing on a mystery Brazilian striker after missing out on Eidur Gudjohnsen. Can't be Robinho because he has joined Santos!
21.14: Confirmation has arrived that Pedro Mendes has left Rangers to join Sporting Lisbon. He will be missed by the Gers but Walter Smith is adamant he has enough options in midfield.
20.30: Harry Redknapp fears that Stoke will nip in front of Spurs to sign goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Portsmouth. Younes Kaboul has already made the move from Fratton Park to White Hart Lane today of course.
19.09: Rafael Benitez has confirmed Ryan Babel will be staying at Liverpool for the remainder of the season despite interest from Birmingham City.
18.50: Wigan are believed to be in talks with Crystal Palace striker Victor Moses after Neil Warnock confirmed the club had accepted an offer of £2.5 million from a Premier League club.
18.20: Speaking after his side's 1-1 draw with Tottenham, Alex McLeish has confirmed that he has withdrawn his interest in Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko having failed to finalise a deal.
17.48: We have some breaking news as Tottenham confirm they have reached a deal to bring Younes Kaboul back to the club from Portsmouth. Will Asmir Begovic follow?
16:49: Former France and Arsenal forward Sylvain Wiltord has signed for Ligue 2 side Metz. The 35-year-old, who helped Les Bleus to European Championship glory in 2000, had been without a club since being released by Marseille at the end of last season.
15:30: Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has alluded to the possibility that the club will be unable to add to the signing of Maxi Rodriguez during the current transfer window.
15:08: Stoke are poised to hijack Tottenham's move for Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
14:28: Sampdoria would be reluctant to sell Antonio Cassano, according to their president, Riccardo Garrone, but would seriously consider any offer of €20m or over for the forward.
13:46: Monaco striker Park Chu-Young has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2013.
13:14: The Crespo move has caused the transfer merry-go-round to spring into life in Serie A with Amoruso being sold to Atalanta - his 13th club in Italy - to make way for Crespo, while Robert Acquafresca has been loaned to Genoa, from Atalanta.
12:31: Aaron Ramsey has revealed that Arsenal's dedication to signing him convinced him to snub Manchester United.
12:25: Roma defender Cicinho is being tracked by Sampdoria, who have reportedly opened talks with them.
12:02: Milan are pressing ahead with plans to sign Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic as the Italians prepare a busy summer transfer market.
11:22: He may have been struggling for form in the Premier League with struggling Pompey but, let's face it, West Ham are desperate for a striker and Frederic Piquionne is one of those. 4.5 million euros is the rumoured amount needed to prise Piquionne away from parent club Lyon.
10:42: Saint-Etienne hopes to finalise a loan deal for Rennes defender Carlos Bocanegra before Monday's deadline. Head coach Christoph Galtier revealed his interest in the former Fulham left-back in L'Equipe.
10:25: Hernan Crespo has officially returned to Parma, moving from Genoa to the club where he started his Serie A career back in 1996.
10:21: L'Equipe are reporting that Eidur Gudjohnsen's loan contract at Spurs includes an option to buy the striker at the end of the six-month spell.

The Daily Mail: Wolves are eyeing up Blackburn striker Jason Roberts with a £2 million fee mooted...Manchester City have made a £7 million move for Parma's Kenyan midfielder McDonald Mariga...Despite Maynor Figueroa signing a new contract with Wigan on Friday, chairman Dave Whelan has said he would let the Honduran sign for "a good club"...Birningham have had an improved £9 million bid for Roman Pavlyuchenko turned down by Tottenham and are also still in the hunt to sign Ryan Babel.
