17.51: Parma have confirmed the signing of Italian defender Cristian Zaccardo from German champions VfL Wolfsburg.

17.36: Reports from the continent suggest that Bayern Munich have beaten Juventus to the signing of Schalke full-back Rafinha.

16.48: Andriy Shevchenko has joined Dynamo Kiev on a two-year deal from Chelsea, according to the official website of the Ukrainian team.

14.10: Former Bolton midfielder Blerim Dzemaili, who currently plays for Torino, is close to joining Serie A side Napoli according to reports in Italy.

13.06: Shakhtar Donetsk defender Dymytro Chygrynskiy says he found it strange playing against Barcelona in Friday's European Super Cup knowing that he will probably seal a move to the Catalan club in the next few days.

12.51: New Everton signing Sylvain Distin says he fears for the future of old club Portsmouth. Perhaps because they have just signed Michael Brown.

12.01: Inter midfielder Patrick Vieira has revealed this will be his last year playing football in Europe, but he could have a spell in the USA.

11.25: Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has insisted that he joined the Eastlands outfit primarily to create history with the club, and not because of the sizeable wage.

10.59: Wigan want to take Celtic striker Scott McDonald on a season-long loan, according to agent Willie McKay.

09.54: Juventus are keen on landing Portuguese international Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisbon, but the move is being planned for next year.

09.19: Roy Hodgson is surprised no club has bid for Brede Hangeland - but is still keen to hang on to his prize asset.

09.05: And another line from the papers is that David Moyes is set to seal a £5m deal for Atletico Madrid's 25-year-old Dutch defender John Heitinga.

09.00: Morning all, Tottenham have told Zenit St Petersburg they are ready to accept £10m for striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

I havent heard anything but we should remain interested about mesut olic and miguel veloso, becasue, quite frankly, im not a fan of Abou Diaby or Alex Song.
