23.33 England defender Joleon Lescott has finally completed his move to from Everton to Manchester City. The 27-year-old centre-back signed a five-year deal with the Eastlands outfit.
22.25 Hull city are hoping to complete the signing of Sunderland defender Paul McShane on Wednesday morning.
20.35 Celtic have confirmed they are in talks with representatives of South Korea midfielder Ki Sung-yong. Hoops chief executive Peter Lawwell said the player is being viewed as "one for the future"
19.21: Lazio striker Goran Pandev says there is 'no truth' to reports that he could be joining West Ham. The Macedonian striker may, however, leave the Bianconeri before the close of the transfer window.
18.40: Watford have now confirmed that Portsmouth have had a bid for Tommy Smith accepted and that the forward must choose between Pompey and Reading.
17.57: Newcastle caretaker manager Chris Hughton is adamant that the club have not recieved any offers for reported Everton and Aston Villa target Steven Taylor. The two Premier League clubs are also believed to be competing for the signature of Sylvain Distin.
17.17: The Wesley Sneijder transfer saga just seems to run and run with Marca now reporting that the Dutchman has once again decided against joining Inter, despite claims earlier in the day that he was en route to Italy to finalise his move. When will it all end??
16.59: Portsmouth are reported to have entered the race for Watford striker Tommy Smith who appeared to be destined for Reading on Monday.
16.14: Arsene Wenger has conducted his press conference ahead of Wednesday's game against Celtic and the Arsenal manager has touched on a couple of transfer lines: there has been no movement on the future of Philippe Senderos while Arsenal are not planning an imminent move for St Etienne's Blaise Matuidi.
15.34: Crystal Palace forward Victor Moses has been linked with a move to Wigan recently but Neil Warnock claims he has heard nothing from the Premier League club.
15.24: News from Campbell's old club, Portsmouth, Sulaiman Al-Fahim is reportedly "very much involved and committed" to the takeover and future of the Premier League club. Not so much he's actually able to sign anyone though.
15.03: Sven-Goran Eriksson's new charges, League Two side Notts County, have announced the signing of former England and Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell on a five-year contract. Five years???
14.33: Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus are poised to announce the signing of Lyon's Italian defender Fabio Grosso.
13.55: Peter Lovenkrands, who is a free agent following Newcastle's relegation last season, claims he has turned down a club in Spain as he is determined to remain in England.
13.52: Defender Alan Tate will be staying at Swansea City after signing a new four-year contract with the Championship side.
13.23: The Hull Daily Mail claims that Leicester City's prolific striker Matty Fryatt could be a target for Tigers boss Phil Brown, although a reported price tag of £4m may well prove a sticking point.
13.19: Harry Redknapp has dismissed reports that Luka Modric could be heading to Manchester United. The Tottenham manager has also played down talk that the club could be targeting David James and Joe Cole.
12.45: Despite being adamant that he does not want to leave Real Madrid, La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Wesley Sneijder could sign for Inter Milan later on Tuesday. The Dutchman is expected in Italy to tie up the loose ends of his transfer to Serie A.

11.57: Hull City appear to be closing on the signing of Sunderland defender Paul McShane, who spent five months on loan with the Tigers last season. It is reported that the Ireland defender is undergoing a medical.
11.55: It is being reported that Aston Villa have made an offer for Portsmouth defender Sylvain Distin, who is also believed to be attracting strong interest from Everton.
11.50: Two players have left Liverpool with young Hungarian strikers Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon joining AEK Athens and Cordoba respectively on loan.
