13.48: Guti has been told that he is part of Real Madrid's plans for the new season, but he will quit the club next summer to move to England.

13.03: Bayern Munich were prepared to sell Frank Ribery for 100million euros,
according to general manager Uli Hoeness.

12.23: Blackburn have signed Michel Salgado after he left Real Madrid earlier this month.

12.08: Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill has played down speculation linking Hull with a move for right-back Luke Young.

11.51: Berliner Zeitung says that Hertha Berlin are set to offer a contract to Dutch striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.

11.39: It looks like Joleon Lescott could be on his way of Everton. He's no longer training with the rest of the first team squad. Surely they will have to sell him to Man City now.

11.00: Corriere Dello Sport reports that Milan want to swap Massimo Oddo with Lorenzo de Silvestri. Will Lazio do business?

10.52: A story in Corriere dello Sport says Inter want to exchange Nicolas Burdisso For Roma's Marco Andreolli.

10.47: Fulham are back in talks with West Bromwich Albion to sign Jonathan Greening.

10.36: Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has admitted the capture of Sporting Gijon midfielder Michel will end his summer spending - if the deal goes through.

10.29: Marouane Chamakh is resigned to staying at Bordeaux for the coming season, despite claiming he has recently been approached by West Ham.

09.54: Feyenoord coach Mario Been has revealed he will not stand in the way of striker Roy Makaay if he wants to leave the Rotterdam club.

09.43: Everton will attend a Home Office hearing in London on Friday to try to acquire a work permit for Argentina international Ever Banega.

09.13: Bolton midfielder Matt Taylor has pledged his long-term future to the club by
signing a one-year extension to his contract.

08.22: Nemanja Vidic's agent has moved to reject claims he suggested the centre-back would be interested in seeking a 'dream' move to Barcelona. "This is not true," he said. "I never said these things. Nemanja is happy in Manchester. If Barcelona do make an offer for him then it is up to United to make a decision."

08.06: We've heard Barca want one more and it could be Willian of Shakhtar Donetsk, according to Sport.

07.36: The Daily Mirror suggest Everton are interested in Tottenham duo David Bentley and Alan Hutton. Not quite sure why.

07.00: Morning all. Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has told AS that he needs another player before the start of the season. "We need another. I know it and the technical director [Txiki Begiristain] knows it. If an arrival is possible it will happen, if it's not, it won't," he said.
