15.46 Hull boss Phil Brown is refusing to admit defeat in his attempts to sign £12m Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo. He said: ''We have done everything we possibly can and hopefully he is coming in today.''

15.08 Atletico Madrid have insisted that Sergio Aguero will not be leaving the club this summer. "Aguero travelled with us [to Athens] to play and there is no chance of a sale," coach Abel Resino was quoted as saying by AS.
