We'll be keeping you as up-to-date as possible on the latest transfer talk in On The Move. You can catch the morning newspaper gossip in Paper Round, read up on all the Latest Transfers and then follow the developing stories in our constantly updated transfer blog here:

17.29 Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed he will sign Rayo Vallecano defender Antonio Amaya, but the deal is subject to international clearance.

17.24 Fulham's veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has signed a one-year contract extension at the club.

16.59 Bury have signed Sheffield United striker Jordan Robertson on loan. Some big deals going down today...

16.44 Huddersfield have confirmed the signing of England Under 19 midfielder Danny Drinkwater from Manchester United.

16.22 Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the team will be stronger this season even though defender Kolo Toure and striker Emmanuel Adebayor have moved to Premier League rivals Manchester City. We wonder if he'll feel the same by Christmas.

16.09 Tottenham centre-back Sebastien Bassong would have stayed at Newcastle if Alan Shearer was given the manager's job, Harry Redknapp has revealed.

15.56 Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has stressed there is 'no chance' of the club selling captain Cesc Fabregas.

15.28 Fulham boss Roy Hodgson hopes to seal a deal for Newcastle midfielder Damien Duff after confirming his interest in the winger.

15.08 Russian outfit CSKA Moscow have completed the signing of former Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez from Real Betis.

14.54 Bolton Wanderers have signed South Korean winger Lee Chung-yong from FC Seoul for an undisclosed fee, the Premier League club said

14.42 David Moyes has told Manchester City manager Mark Hughes that he makes the decisions at Goodison Park and reiterated that Joleon Lescott is not for sale. ''I make the decisions, they have not talked to me and the player has been consistently told he is not for sale. He [Lescott] should get his head around that and get on with his career,'' he said.

14.09 Kanu has signed a one-month deal at Portsmouth. The point? Presumably to boost squad numbers until they can actually sign someone decent.

14.02 Fulham midfielder Hameur Bouazza is on the verge of signing for Turkish side Sivasspor, according to reports. We wonder if he'll get the same reaction as Darius Vassell.

13.45 Plymouth have signed striker Alan Gow from Rangers for an undisclosed fee but he will not be available for tomorrow's Coca-Cola Championship match against QPR.

13.15 West Ham have signed Radoslav Kovac on a three-year deal from Spartak Moscow.

12.50 Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that he has turned down the chance to return to Ajax. "Martin Jol has already contacted me, but I do not intend to return to my former team,'' he said.

12.18 Rayo Vallecano sporting director Felipe Minambres is confident Mohamed Diame's transfer to Wigan will go ahead as planned despite the switch being put on hold due to a health concern regarding the midfielder's heart.

11.46 Danny Simpson has joined Newcastle United in a loan switch from Manchester United until January.

11.26 Liverpool's Fernando Torres has signed a contract extension which could see the striker stay at Anfield until 2014. So he won't be going anywhere.

10.56 West Ham have joined the race to sign Marouane Chamakh from Bordeaux and have seen their first bid rejected by the French club.

10.36 Roma are closing in on the signatures of Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso and Romanian international goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont.

10.24 Diomansy Kamara insists he will remain with Fulham despite being linked with a move to French champions Bordeaux.

10.04 Royston Drenthe has expressed his anxiety regarding a potential move away from Real Madrid. Given he expressed his anxiety about staying as well last season, it doesn't leave much for his future.

09.38 John Mensah is all set to quit Lyon in order to join Sunderland. Not a bad move for Brucie if he can push that one through.

08.52 Birmingham manager Alex McLeish is on the look-out for three more players before the transfer window closes.

08.04 According to reports, it seems as though Inter Milan have agreed a deal with Real Madrid to sign Wesley Sneijder. Will it go through today?

07.00 Just a day to go until the big kick-off, will there be many moves today?

Is it that Firgie is over with team's player registration? I hear no more gossips about moves to the Red Devils. I thought there should be more to be done strengthening the big team.
