8.07pm Arsene Wenger has said that his squad is strong enough, as he deludes himself in thinking that he doesn't have to replace Emmanuel Adebayor or even sign another midfielder.

6.14pm Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will make a decision on his future next week. The Real Madrid striker has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, but looks most likely to join Stuttgart as they look to replace Mario Gomez.

5.01pm Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has set his sights on Nantes midfielder Guirane N'Daw as he looks to keep his side in the top flight.
4.30pm Rangers fans are getting annoyed by the lack of signings at Ibrox. John
MacMillan, general secretary of the Rangers Supporters Association, said: ''It is very disappointing but I can see the reasons behind it. We have players on long-term contracts whom we can't get rid of.''
4.17pm Samuel Eto'o is 'honoured' by the interest from Serie A champions Inter Milan, according to his agent, but is no closer to agreeing personal terms yet.

2.09pm AC Milan coach Leonardo has said he would welcome David Beckham back at the San Siro on loan.
1.47pm West Ham United defender Lucas Neill is reportedly set to quit the Premier League to join Turkish giants Galatasaray. It couldn't be about the money now could it?
1.23pm AC Milan coach Leonardo insists signing Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano would not be a gamble for the Rossoneri. ''Milan don't turn to the transfer market just to buy a name, if we do, it's because we need him,'' he said. Adding: ''We have a good squad and we shouldn't be in a rush."

11.54am Robinho has made it clear that he would like to see some defenders arrive at City now, and John Terry could make the team ''unbeatable.''

10.54am Carlos Tevez has had another go at former boss Sir Alex, claiming that he might not even shake his hand the next time they meet as he is so bitter about not being played in the important games. I wonder if he'll be saying the same about Mark Hughes in six months time.
10.23am Arsene Wenger could move for Newcastle's Obafemi Martins in a cut-price deal to replace Emmanuel Adebayor. Not sure who he would negotiate the transfer with though...

9.32am Chelsea are getting on their high horses to complain about Man City's chase for John Terry and they might report them for 'tapping him up' after Mark Hughes made his interest clear.
