We'll be keeping you as up-to-date as possible on the latest transfer talk in On The Move. You can catch the morning newspaper gossip in Paper Round, read up on all the Latest Transfers and then follow the developing stories in our constantly updated transfer blog here:

19.30 pm Carlos Tevez's latest saga is over. He's joining Manchester City to no-one's particular surprise. His popularity rating at Old Trafford is likely to be less than zero. Though perhaps more popular than Michael Owen.

18.16pm: Hamilton defender Brian Easton is to join Burnley. The clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee.

18.01pm: It looks like Real Madrid will get Xabi Alonso now, with the player reportedly phoning Rafa Benitez and saying he wants to leave. But can Liverpool hang on to Javier Mascherano?

17.37pm: Sunderland have signed Paraguay captain Paulo da Silva from Mexican side Toluca. Makes a change for Steve Bruce to sign a player from South America!

16.38pm: Pascal Chimbonda is ignoring talk of an exit from Spurs and insists he's happy to play for the club. Well, we say play....

16.14pm: Sir Alex Ferguson insists he will not be "stupid" with the £80m windfall he received for the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo. We didn't think he was going to bother spending it!

15.31pm: Crystal Palace is expected Wigan to make a bid for wonderkid Victor Moses.

14.48pm: Real Madrid to stop spending? Never! Jornal de Noticias is reporting that their new target will be Joao Moutinho from Sporting Lisbon.

14.29pm: Former England international Teddy Sheringham is in talks with Beckenham Town, according to the Kent League outfit. He must be about 78 by now.

13.36pm: Everton are locked in what could soon become a three-club battle to sign Sheffield United's full-back Kyle Naughton. Tottenham have made a late bid for the player, with Aston Villa apparently also waiting in the wings.

12.22pm: Amazing! City are in for another striker now. It's been revealed they are in talks with Arsenal to sign Emmanuel Adebayor. Crazy world.

11.26am: Manchester City are hopeful of clinching the signature of Carlos Tevez before they head off for a three-match tour of South Africa on Wednesday.

11.22am: Lyon have stepped up their chase for Andre-Pierre Gignac of Toulouse, but the new improved offer has been turned down.

10.41am: Mido could be returning home to Egypt. He's been linked with Zamalek.

10.23am: Marseille have announced they have come to an agreement with Rennes over the transfer of Stephane Mbia to the Stade Velodrome.

10.11am: French kid Alharbi el-Jadeyaoui is having a trial with Blackburn Rovers. He plays for Brest at the moment, who are in Ligue 2.

9.56am: It looks like the rumours over Zlatan Ibrahimovic have no base, with the player's agent denying that Manchester United have made a bid for him.

9.49am: Aston Villa have been linked with a bid for Sporting Lisbon's Miguel Veloso.

9.35am: Toulouse president Olivier Sadran maintains star striker Andre-Pierre Gignac will not be sold to Ligue 1 rivals Lyon.

9.15am: South Africa's Kagisho Dikgacoi - yes him from the Confederations Cup - hasn't heard anything from Portsmouth about a potential move, but his agent reckons that there are plenty ''other sides from Russia, Germany and Portugal who are keen."

9.00am: Spurs have made a fresh attempt to lure the Montenegrin hitman Mirco Vucinic to White Hart Lane and could be set to offer up a €20million bid.

8.19am: City could hijack Milan's move for Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano though, as he looks a cheaper option, with the Sevilla man nearly on the way to the San Siro.

8.00am: Carlos Tevez is the man this morning, and looks set to complete a £25m move to Manchester City now that he's back from his holidays.

Why was Sir Alex Ferguson did not consider to buy Fabreagas and also Aguro? This two player will fit in well in united and they are still young. They have all the quality to bring Manchester United to more glory in EPL and European Champions League Glory to earase the Barcelona 2008/2009 win. Man Utd can win all the competition with them and the likes of Rooney, Valencia, Owen, Berba, Carrick, Anderson, Nani, Park Ji Sung, Oshea, Hargreaves, Vidic, Ferdinand, Rafeal brothers, Evra, Tosic, Macheda, Evans, Brown, Van Der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak....
