For each day of the January transfer window we will be bringing you the latest transfer news in our brand new On The Move blog so check back here every day to get your fix of fact, rumours and gossip.
The future of Carlos Tevez is the subject of most tabloid talk on Tuesday as the Argentine's agent, Kia Joorabchian, refused to say he would be staying at United next season.
With Real Madrid ready to drop their interest in Cristiano Ronaldo to chase Tevez for a cut price £25 million fee (The Sun) could another United player be heading to Spain?
A five-year deal is the main sticking point over Tevez's future according to The Daily Star, who claim that with the transfer fee and a £80,000-a-week contract, United would have to splash out £52m on Tevez to sign him permanently.
Elsewhere, Andrei Arshavin is the subject of interest from the Premier League as he looks to leave Zenit, but it's not from Tottenham - it's from Arsenal.
The Daily Star seem to think the Russian's wage demands will stop a move, but everyone else (and especially the Sun claim that he is about to sign for £12 million.
Tottenham, not to be outdone, are looking elsewhere to spend their hard earned cash and have targeted Stewart Downing at £14.5 million according to the Telegraph. The one problem? Middlesbrough don't want to sell, and even though they rate the winger at £15 million, Spurs' offer wasn't quite enough.
It couldn't be a transfer roundup without some Manchester City action and the Daily Mirror have kindly provided today's City rumour, which constitutes being offered Inter Milan's Brazilian striker Adriano in a swap deal with Eastlands misfit Jo.
Not quite the world-class collection of stars everyone expected, but the Times claims that apparently West Ham are considering City's bid for Scott Parker, but only if they throw a Michael Johnson shaped object in the opposite direction.
Hands up if you've never heard of Sporting Gijon's ''highly-rated'' defender Roberto Canella? Well you're not Martin O'Neill then, as the Villa boss is willing to throw £10 million at the Spanish side to secure the defender's services, according to the Daily Mirror.
Someone who everyone knows, Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia, is one of the most wanted men this January and has a host of clubs after him according to The Daily Star. So, those teams in full... Stoke, Fulham, Sunderland, Blackburn, Tottenham, Skegness, Montrose and anyone else with a few quid to spend.
Sam Allardyce might be keen, says the Guardian, but will probably spend most of his available funds on trying to recreate his old Bolton team. Starting with Tal Ben Haim and a helping of El Hadji Diouf from Sunderland, all provinding that Roque Santa Cruz doesn't bother sticking around.
BEST OF THE REST
Rangers are willing to let captain Barry Ferguson try and impress in the Premier League again if anyone can stump up the £2.5 million that the Daily Record says they want.
Artur Boruc is a wanted man and the Celtic goalkeeper is a £9 million target for Atletico Madrid, according to the Sun.
West Ham's Calum Davenport is poised to join Bolton for £3m after failing to hold down a first-team spot.
Wigan Henri Camara is also on the move, as Steve Bruce considers the Daily Mail source that says Stoke want him for £1m.
And finally, from the world's most expensive player, to Bolton. As World Cup winner Denilson (no, not the one at Arsenal) is ready for a trial with Gary Megson's side. Various tabloids have this story, but no-one can quite believe it.
