Two Arsenal players are interesting Barcelona, according to The Daily Star, with the Catalan giants ready to launch an astonishing £45 million raid for Francesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie.

While Real Madrid have long been linked with a move for Fabregas it now seems their fierce La Liga rivals are ready to join the hunt.

And there's interest from Italy in another Gunner, according to The Daily Telegraph. It would seem Jose Mourinho is tracking Abou Diaby and wants him at Inter Milan. The Daily Mirror and The Sun claim Emmanuel Eboue could make the same move.

Over at Stamford Bridge there could be an explanation for Deco's recent poor form. The Daily Star quotes the Portuguese international saying he is homesick and wants to return home to his native Brazil.

Manchester United are looking to get hold of more young talent in the form of French midfielder Sofiane Feghouli, 19, from Grenoble. But The Daily Telegraph is warning of interest from Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan.

And The Independent says Sir Alex Ferguson will move for Villarreal goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

There's never a shortage of speculation at Manchester City right now and there's more rumours and gossip in Thursday's press. The Daily Mail claims Mark Hughes has tabled an £8 million bid for Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given which is sure to provoke a reaction from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Times reports that City will finally move in for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz and could bid in the region of £15 million.

But The Daily Mirror has ruled out a move to City for David Trezeguet.

And there could be a player on the way out of Eastlands with The Daily Mirror claiming defender Nedum Onuoha will have his pick of Wigan, Blackburn, Fulham, Newcastle and French side Paris St Germain.

And could Tal Ben Haim be out his way out too? The Daily Mirror believe the former Chelsea and Bolton defender is on Harry Redknapp's wanted list at Spurs.

The White Hart Lane rebuilding mission could look to Ligue 1 with The Daily Mirror suggesting Fred could move across from Lyon.

And could Tottenham raid Polonia Warsaw for goalkeeper Sebastian Przyrowski? That's from The Daily Telegraph.

There could be movement over at Portsmouth with Tony Adams ready to follow up on former boss Redknapp's summer interest to make a bid for Joey Barton. They are also interested in goalkeeper Yohann Pele, claims The Daily Mirror. And the The Sun believes former Arsenal midfielder Edu could head over from Valencia.

The future of Wigan's Emile Heskey remains in the spotlight with his contract running out. Could The Daily Mirror be right about a cut-price £1.5 million return to Liverpool?

Hull will make a double swoop this week for Luis Boa Morte (The Independent) of West Ham and Wigan's Kevin Kilbane (The Daily Express).

Bolton want to sign Zenit St Petersburg centre-back Sebastien Puygrenier on a six-month loan deal, says The Sun.

Middlesbrough will use Mido to pip Everton to the signing of Newcastle's Alan Smith. That's in The Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail can also see Lee Bowyer signing for Birmingham from West Ham.
