Arsenal may have trouble holding onto Cesc Fabregas and Arsene Wenger over the summer, but the one player most Gunners fans wouldn't mind seeing the back of is staying. And being offered a new deal according to the Sun.

Emmanuel Eboue, abused by his own fans, has attracted the interest of Atletico Madrid who are willing to spend money on the Ivorian. Arsenal aren't keen though, preferring to concentrate their attentions on bringing the likes of Gervinho and Matthew Upson into the club.

If you're having trouble believing a club actually wants to buy Eboue, what about the frankly incredible news from Italy's Il Corriere Dello Sport that Juventus are after Liverpool workhorse Dirk Kuyt for £28m. Yes that is more than the Reds paid for Fernando Torres.

Also Nicklas Bendtner has turned down the chance to play for German Bundesliga leaders Hoffenheim, with his father taking a Kaka-esque role in telling the Guardian that he will be staying at the Emirates.

Jimmy Bullard looks ready to leave Craven Cottage as his contract dispute gets out of hand and Hull have agreed a fee with Fulham for £5m according to Sky Sports. Quite why their £5m is better than Bolton's £5m which was rejected last week is still a mystery.

Portsmouth say they won't sell anymore stars, but tell that to Croatian Niko Kranjcar who claims that he is next to go. Arsenal and Tottenham are hovering, but they'll probably have to wait until the summer unless Pompey really want to be playing Championship football next season.

Tottenham should be lining up a new goalkeeper with Cesar failing to impress Harry Redknapp to the extent that the boss thought he only had one stopper at the club. Valencia will seal a move for the ex-Real Madrid man on Friday.

Sunderland are keen to use January to bring in a ton of new players to keep them up and Ricky Sbragia has pinpointed five new faces according to the Sunderland Echo. Keen to get them in sharpish, we could even the see the one Ricky ''has his eye on'' starting against Fulham on Tuesday.

No matter how much he may wink at the Premier League's finest, all Mido can do is attract the attention of Wigan, say Sky Sports. With Marlon King joining Middlesbrough on loan, perhaps the Teesside club feel in giving mood and could send the Egyptian to the JJB as thanks.

Finally, the Daily Mail claim West Ham are just plain SHOCKED by the £8m price tag on Cardiff's Joe Ledley. Having obviously ignored the fact that the Kaka bid has made all players worth three times more than they actually are, the club's £5m bid just won't cut it; and they've probably forgotton Stoke had a £6m offer for the player rejected at the start of the season.

Hopefully, if Arsenal get Arshavin they will sell Eboue. Frankly, I am surprised that anyone is interested in him but until other player are signed, Arsenal can't lose any bodies as they are so injured (as usual)

Eboue isnt useless, but its about time we raked in the cash on him. Alot may disagree, but I feel that Arsenal's Reserves have a plethora of players who can sub in the Right Wing or Right Back position behind Walcott and Sagna, better than the ball losing Eboue. He along with Senderos lost the plot after a good season and a half and i Think if Wenger can get 6-7 million for him, why not? He can use those funds to purchase gervinho as reported and supplement Arshavin. If anything, I hope Wenger turns his attention to Kerlon at Chievo. He is the REAL Mad Ant and has the smarts and skills to take care of the right side for Arsenal. People like Jay Thomas, Benik Afobe are youngsters in the making for the reserves so Sell him Arsene....before you regret and let him go for free or for less in the future just like you did with Viera, Henry,Flamini and more..

Dirk Kuyt for 28 Million? No way! Hes worth 109m. I wouldn't swap him for Kaka.

Hi! Yes you got it. I am Mr Benitez. I love Kuyt. He has no first touch, passes back all the time, can't dribble, but he runs and runs and runs. Thats the kind of players I want, no skill all brawn.

Get a proper winger FFS.

I think it`s high time Arsene Wenger got serious about keeping our best players. One of them is Eboue. We can just be selling players and not replcing them.We sold Hleb and Flamini ,both crucial players and bought average players. We neeed depth. He is going through a bad spell and every player goes through that, look at Ronaldino, sold and look what he`s now doing at Ac

Eboue absolutely sucks, sell him for a nickle, who cares. he was a good right back but if Wenger insists on playing him in midfield they might as well just start each game with 10 players.

People may not see the usefulness of Eboue now, but they should look back i.e. before sagnas' arrival, Eboue contributed a lot and i still believe that he has more to offer given his age and the position he plays. so Wenger should keep him, no matter his form at the moment. he will recover and do better.

Poor Eboue cannot capture the heart of Arsenal's fan but his best match is the game against ManUtd. in January 07 where his beautiful cross at the 93rd minutes to Thiery Henry and the latter's header beat van der Sar & ManUtd. altogether.

Well done, Eboue, even if you finally go I still remember that brilliant cross and winning over ManUtd. is always proud.

What if A. Venger was my dad? very disapointing.Dont tell me credit crunch, bla bla..He is not missedcaller today but he is all the time that.

It is sad to see people talk about Eboue like he aint playing good soccer. its just a bad spell. we got a gem in him and the player to be going is Adebayor. We need playesr like Adebayor going to get free flowing fowards in the name of Zaki, You all know we need a trophy. Not a tall dude stabding in as a striker with no diea where the goal or ball is. case in place the Cardiff game. four goals half the season over. Jeeez. Arsene look straight Coach!

get rid of eboue and bring goran pandev from lazio if the gunners want to win silverware.Similar player to Messi and Arjen Robben.

c'mon arsene lets sell eboue if u can get cash for mistakes lets take it cause thats all eboue makes we need arshvin theirs quality

the biggest problem with Arsenal isn't the players, its Wenger. He needs to wake up and face the fact that football has changed, the big names count
