Here are some of the stories involving potential comings and goings from NUFC today:
IN: NUFC have had a cash bid for Marseilles Ben Arfa rejected. Hoffenheim have also declared an interest (Various)
Ben Arfa is a very good player, but a number of sources suggest that he is not the easiest player to coach. For that reason I hope this deal does not progress. We have gone down that road too many times before.
IN: NUFC are competing with that lot down the road (you know – the ones who Sol and Gosling turned down) for the loan of Boyata from Manchester City. (Sunderland Echo)
I would be very surprised if this one was true – We have just signed Sol to go along with Taylor, Colo, Williamson and Kadar whilst the other team linked have loads of players in this position.
OUT: Chelsea are keen on Newcastle striker Andy Carroll and Newcastle are preparing to reject a £7m bid. (Sunderland Echo)
Andy Carroll to Chelsea? I doubt it. Not yet anyway.
er, I'm guessing that, like me, you use newsnow, or some other linik aggregator since you mentioned the Echo article on Carroll being linked with chelsea.
