Possibly the worst weekend in the history of mankind. Potentially, there are truly horrific consequences to the recent run of results. The despicable Chelsea could win a double, City could finish fourth and we could well be up against it in the derby next Saturday. Possibilities like this make me quiver, but there are still reasons to be cheerful.

There are some things that I just don't understand. The connection between Jesus, chocolate eggs and rabbits eludes me. The contents of Alex Ferguson's mind during important European games is also beyond my comprehension. There have been times in the past when the wizard’s substitutions have been inspired (1999) but this week wasn't one of them.
