I was planning to write about the West Ham game as the absence of Carlos Tevez created in some ways the first true example of the Mancini diamond in action. However fairly obviously that is a column for another time as the transfer request from Tevez has created something of a furor. There are, I believe, at least three different issues that are fueling the situation.
