Manchester City

John Terry may or not be upset at Chelsea and as such the England captain may or may not be interested in joining City. Wayne Bridge may or may not be the individual behind the attempt to get Terry to come to the City of Manchester Stadium. Carlos Tevez is apparently lost somewhere, probably in the neutral zone and a Romulan battle Cruiser has been sent to try and find him.

Rafa Benitez is mad at Gareth Barry for taking the opportunity to play every day rather than be involved in the latest version of "Rafa's inane rotation policy" trademark and patent pending of course. Money may or may not have had something to do with the former Aston Villa captain's decision to join City 'tis true. The again Liverpool may or may not have paid about 7 times more for a right full back than they should have.

Samuel Eto'o may or may not be joining City... or United; or staying at Barcelona... or going to Barnet. I'm not sure anyone cares at this point. Mark Hughes may or may not be keen to add former Blackburn star Tugay to the coaching staff while Stoke may or may not be interested in Benjani, who might have said he wants to go back to Portsmouth. But no one is sure. We are sure that Gelson Fernandes is now going St. Etienne or maybe he'll stay and try and fight for his place... or not.

There will be a test later

The sad thing is that there's really not a whole lot of fun "stuff" going on this window. Wake me up when it's over...

(And Glen Johnson's on better wages than Gerrard at the moment! Benitez is a clown.)

The Eto'o chase has officially been called off. I admire Hughes, Cook, and co. for not allowing that circus to drag on any further. The player appears to be having a good cry somewhere with poor cell phone reception.
