Jordan Henderson is in and a host of about 50 players are rumoured to be on their way to Liverpool. It's quite ridiculous really how the internet, social media and twitter have really spoiled what used to be a quiet time during the year.
It seems like if we are not linked to a new player every day we start to wondering if we are active in the transfer market.
Personally I'm quite happy with the way Liverpool are going about things. I'm sure we are working hard behind the scenes to bring in players and get rid of some of the dead wood that we feel are expandable.
I would be surprised to see Ngog, Cole, Poulsen and Alberto in a red shirt next year. Or even our famous white and blue third strips (can't tell you how many emails I got from fans telling me I don't know our history and that it is a throwback to our tradition - which is just so silly). Tradition also means that we should stand at football matches, but just because it is something we used to do doesn't mean we should do it again!
Anyway, the transfer window is still open. We have plenty of time to get our targets and I still think that a winger is the first priority, followed by a striker. So don't panic yet.
On a lighter note my daughter (7) came into my room today and woke up as she was getting ready for summer camp. She said today is superhero day at camp and she asked me what superhero did I think she was going to be? Half asleep I said Wonder Women.. to which she responded that she was going to be King Kenny and would wear her Liverpool kit and a cape because he is a superhero!
I couldn't have been any more proud!
