22 Years ago today 96 Football Supporters lost their lives by simply attending a game. These 96 supporters are gone but they are never forgotten.

Please take a moment today to reflect on this.

Please also take a moment to reflect on the terrible lies and cover-ups that started during this tragedy of 96 lives. 22 years on and these cover ups and lies are still being told as the truth. Don't believe them.

I hope one day these families can finally have some closure on what happend on that terrible day.

Just heard Margaret Aspinal's speech on the Hillsborough anniversary, when she mentioned Rafa, I saw him become emotional and cry, yet no emotion at winning the Europeon cup. Rafa you will always be one of us, You Will Never Walk Alone....

On behalf of Rangers fans the world over let me express my solidarity with Liverpool on this. It is beyond words that someone should go out to watch a football match and never come home. It took 40 years for the lie that Rangers fans caused the Ibrox Disaster by turning and rushing back into the ground to be accepted as just that, a lie.

The truth will out.

There are two types of horeos in a game of football-on pitch heroe and off pitch heroe. The 96 liverpool fans are heroes who didnt play football on the picth, but their passion is not any less. As we honour them, may they be honoured with eternal joy with God

We didn't play well against Sunderland on the whole though there were glimses of excellence. With all those big names in Football not one of them was really outstanding. We missed goals, missed chances, didn't follow up and didn't create chances to score.Sometimes we looked like any ordinary team.
The coaches have to really think hard how to utilise the skills of these top players. Sunderland didn't even have one big name player

About
Kevin Brodie Kevin Brodie has been fortunate enough to see some of Liverpool’s greatest teams and players in action over the last 35 years. Reds fans are spoiled for choice in trying to pick their favourite memory. The best early memory I have of watching Liverpool in person was our 7-0 thrashing of Spurs, with the 7th goal being a thing of beauty. Watching us in 89 lift the FA Cup after the terrible disaster at Hillsborough was also very special. My favourite Liverpool moment on the TV has to be the Champions League final in 2005. It was a day I will never forget.
