Liverpool

What an odd field to be celebrating the verdict of a judge rather then hearing the full time whistle blow from the referee! This has been the story of Liverpool's plight since these Cowboys came in started the slow decline of LFC.

Ever since Parry and Moores sold the "family jewels" to these pair, after the initial honeymoon, Liverpool have been an off the field laughing stock. Our manager, at the time, was the only thing that prevented our club from the rot that will all can see is happening now. Hopefully these new owners can stop that rot by injecting new money into the club and making smart footballing decisions.

The two leeches that owned our club told lie after lie all at the expense of the supporters and the club. The leverged the club in debt, forcing us to make money in the last four transfer windows. They told us we would have a spade in the ground in 60 days and we did not. They went behind the managers back time and time again. They were the worst possible owners anyone could have imagined.

Let's not make the same mistake this time. Let's welcome our new owners but let's make sure their actions speak louder then their words.

As a side note, did anyone see what old Harry Rednapp said during the week. that he didn't understand what H&G did that was so wrong, etc etc. Harry Rednapp comments should not be forgotten when he comes to Anfield this season.

About
Kevin Brodie Kevin Brodie has been fortunate enough to see some of Liverpool’s greatest teams and players in action over the last 35 years. Reds fans are spoiled for choice in trying to pick their favourite memory. The best early memory I have of watching Liverpool in person was our 7-0 thrashing of Spurs, with the 7th goal being a thing of beauty. Watching us in 89 lift the FA Cup after the terrible disaster at Hillsborough was also very special. My favourite Liverpool moment on the TV has to be the Champions League final in 2005. It was a day I will never forget.
