Liverpool are cursed this year. No way in hell we should have lost that game. Liverpool had out our strongest 11 and played very well for 45 minutes. Probably the best we have played since United visited Anfield. Torres should have scored early on but perhaps he was a bit rusty. Gerrard was competely hacked down, a stone wall pk. Howard Webb had a great view only to waive play on. Not sure what game he was watching as usual. If he is England's best no wonder the refs are so poor.

Liverpool finally got the goal they craved when Kuyt poked home the ball after a poor punch by their keeper. Liverpool went into the break 1-0 and it could have been more as Arsenal did not trouble Liverpool's back line or Reina.

Something happened during that 15 minute half time spell but Liverpool were awful in the second period. Once Johnson own goal went in I always felt we would lose. Arshavin's goal was a fantastci strike, that was the first time I can remember him even doing anything in the match.

Liverpool didnt' have a good response after they went ahead and seemed to actually go into more of a shell. Torres was isolated, Gerrard's body language was awful and Yossi was running into blind alleys.

It was a terrible game to lose. To go from a winning position to a losing one at Anfield is never fun. Wigan next..we are in need of 3 points.
