‘If I had to leave, I think that England could be my destination’. ‘The cycle at Juventus is finished’. As the rumour mill moves into fifth gear, Bianconeri favourites Gigi Buffon and Mauro Camoranesi are being linked with pastures new away from Turin. The question is, how many of the Old Lady’s stars will be moving on this summer?

Buffon has given the clearest indication yet that his future may lie away from Turin, and with Italy’s number one potentially set for the departure gate, who else will be following him?

Over recent months, Mauro Camoranesi, David Trezeguet and Fabio Cannavaro amongst others have all signalled their intention to find new challenges. With all hope of Champions League football next season extinguished following the draw away at Catania, many will feel the Europa League will not be enough for them. The worry for many Juve fans will be whether this will evolve into the perfect chance to get the rebuilding programme into full swing, or with many regulars set to leave, will there be the same quality coming in as replacements?

Granted, losing one of the greatest goalkeeper’s in modern day football will prove to be a huge loss and one which would be met with great unrest by team-mates and supporters alike. If Juve want to bounce back from such a disastrous season it would seem suicidal to lose such important figures, icons even.

Contrastingly, Juventini were given some positive news this week as Andrea Agnelli was appointed the new President at the club, a move which is a significant step in the right direction. With changes being made at the highest level of the club, this summer may see a considerable number of ins-and-outs as the Juventus squad looks set for an overhaul of substantial proportion.

With Signor Agnelli promising investment in the squad, Alberto Zaccheroni’s successor will find himself with the unenviable task of re-constructing what was once one of Europe’s dominant forces, whether this will prove to be successful remains to be seen.

Provided the future of the club remains intact, with the heartbeat of the side in the form of Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio and Diego to name but a few remaining at the Stadio Olimpico, perhaps the loss of others will be a blessing in disguise. A fresh start. Players brought in to breathe new life into the club, perhaps heralding a bright new future for Juventus Football Club, and returning it to the glory it once experienced with great regularity with the passion and enthusiasm of the tifosi returning once more.

One more week and this horrible nightmare of a season is officially over. It couldn't come fast enough, hopefully the house will be cleaned. I would rather lose with youngsters learning while on the pitch than veterans who haven't cared in 3 months. I am so frustrated that I can't even think straight to give my honest opinion on what should be done. Hopefully we can pull out a victory (miracle) against AC Milan, to ease my summer misery.

so cannavaro wants to leave, huh? well, that's something we have all wanted from the start. he has seen better days on the pitch, and certainly these times have proven much of a challenge against younger, faster players. he can pack up his things...i don't think any tifoso will even notice when he's gone. i hope, in the name of God, that we can find something to have hope in. i believe that juventus will be back. a few new players, and a new coach will do the trick.

When my Bayern team won 4-1 in Torino, I thought it was something special. In the long term, I was wrong, very wrong. Doesn't seem arrogant that these big name players want to move on, given that there's no CL for them next year? Weren't they the ones responsible for such a dismal season? Why would anyone pay their high salaries for such poor performance? I don't blame management for cleaning house, but I don't like the lack of responsibility coming from the players!

I think that juventus had an verage team but started with an inexperience coach which cost them so much.the win against inter in the first round those goal came with alot of luck an so hide alot of the coach weekness.juventus need more creative an attacting players we didnt play with a real winger for 90% of the season, marchisio is a good player but he is best for the middle of the field not on the wing an juventuc needs a reall good central defender to compliment chiellini let some those defensive midfielder go get more creative player an we do better next season an improve even more when we get to champion league
