The media in Ghana has been one hotbed of debate after we revealed the contents of the evaluation list given to Milovan Rajevac for the World Cup by kicker.

There have been many opinions, but the central issue has been about who merited two seconds of Milo’s astute tactical brains. For instance, some said Stephen Appiah should not have been there, others promised bloody murder if he does not make it to the final list!

That was all on radio and television. Now it is your turn.

Among all the players in the world eligible to represent the red, yellow, green and black, which Ghana XI would you want to see on the plane to South Africa?

You can add a preferred formation and substitutes bench, too, for good measure. On Sunday, we’ll collate the most popular XI and publish it.

I think that’s fair, no?

Well what are you waiting for? Get predicting!

-Kingston-
Inkoom – Vorsah – Mensah – Sarpei
Quincy – Essien – Asamoah – Kevin
Amoah – Gyan
Becnh: Appiah, Afful, Tagoe, Dramani.

I dont want any 'small boys' like Dominic and so on. We need big men!

4-4-2: Olele, Sam Inkoom, Isac Vorsa, Lee Addy (John mensah), nana kwasi asare (I don’t believe ur coach list so…), Quincy, Kevin, Asamoah, Dede, Asamoah Gyan, Tagoe

Look here...

Formation 451
Against the opposition we will face we need DEFENCE

Therefore we HAVE to repeat the Angola formation. STRENGTH/TIGHT PLAY

Why have all the others left Painstil…you guys serious?

Ahorlu/Agyei, Painstil – Vorsah- Mensah – Rahim, Annan – Asamoah – Kevin – Badu - Haminu,
Gyan

Subs: Kingson, Amoah, Hans, Essien, Appiah, Tagoe, Inkoom + any others

Paintsil is the most consistent player in our team by far. Maybe he should be even cap.

Great response guys.

So far Kingston leads in the race for goalie, Vorsah and Addy in defence....hmmmm

Looking good. Keep them coming!

I think Milo should consider using the same Angola team, they showed more commitment?

Posted by Gary Al-Smith on 05/03/2010

Well, I personally think that Angola team cannot stand the vastly bigger experience of teams like Germany, the Aussies and Serbia.

That said, we never know what Milo is thinking, do we?

Why is everybody so fond of amoah? I'm from Holland and i've seen that man play. He barely ever scores. I would suggest a replacement by Adiyiah in the friendly match against Holland, 1st of June. If Adiyiah will be able to break through the tough Dutch defence. Adiyiah should take amoah's place and become a regular, in my opinion..
What do you guys think about that?

Posted by Gary Al-Smith on 05/10/2010

Nii Kwatei,

I think Milo has a thing for experience. I also thinks he's of the view that the WC aint for kids and that is why he's sticking to the old guns. Adiyiah may just be Ghana's revelation in SA, as other players may also be.

Let's keep our fingers crossed, mate!
