I blame a major increase in sunspot activity this year for raising world levels of insanity. And now REM are splitting up.

The table still doesn't make for pleasant reading, and the side continues to frustrate going forward. At least our drab point off West Brom sees us out of the bottom three.

With both in the bottom three Fulham at West Brom won't merit the day's banner headlines. But how the two managers need a win to keep the fans off their backs

Fringe players from both sides get their chance to impress as the Carling Cup call sees both Fulham and Chelsea facing a derby neither wants right now

A vibrant second-half against the 'Millionarios of Manchester' really had the Cottage rocking for the first time this season. Still no wins...but belief is back.

Following a crazy set of results, Saturday night was not pleasant for Whites fans as we looked up from last place in the division. Winless and probably weary from Thursday night, I think a majority of us approached the arrival of Citeh with some trepidation. Remembering what they'd done to Spurs left me hoping we might just escape without too much damage to our goal difference.

It’s Blackburn this Sunday and a great chance to put three points on the board. A fixture I remember fondly from our promotion year in 2000.

The international break saw Fabio Capello serve up some home truths to one of the Premier League's biggest names.

Andy Carroll, yet to set the world alight at Liverpool, was warned by the England manager to change his ways if he wanted to remain part of the national squad. The most expensive player in the domestic game, Liverpool having coughed up £35 million last January to lure their man away from Newcastle, Carroll was warned to curb his alcohol intake and take a hard look at his lifestyle.

The bottom line is that by the close of the transfer window not one of Fulham’s front line players had left the club, while the business done suggests we’re on the up.
