The boys have been on the Algarve for a break from winter. Let's hope they return with a considerable upturn in performance levels for the tricky trip to Eastlands.

It's what you do with it that makes life interesting. Too many people who've never kicked one are culpable in forgetting what the game is all about.

Hardly the passionate encounter we were hoping for with our local rivals. Another clean sheet at the Cottage, a sterling defensive display, but where was the sparkle?

Both sides briefly sat in the bottom three midwinter. After an injection of fresh blood, both now go chasing a win and mid-table respectabilty. Two sides on the up and a good game in prospect.

Not an easy one to call on current form. Villa were undone last time out at Old Trafford - no disgrace in that. Fulham finally learnt how to 'win ugly' as Danny called it to see off a weakened Newcastle. Again we go to one of our least favourite venues, no wins here in nine attempts since being promoted. 3 draws and 6 defeats is the unenviable record.

Back into league action we go with a mid-week match up at home to the Magpies, and another chance to strut our stuff on TV, this time live on Sky. It would be pure Fulhamish to follow up Sunday's rout of Tottenham with a turgid display against one of the promoted sides.
