More points dropped against a modest Birmingham outfit means Fulham complete a miserable month with just three points from a possible 15. A run that leaves us on the brink of the relegation places.

Not for the first time this season you really didn't need any help from Mystic Meg to predict the outcome of the Whites latest effort to find a win. Our remorseless decline down the league continues, just Clint's scruffy goal to show for another fustrating performance. Review my preview to see how I called this a nailed on draw. If only I could muster the same clarity of prediction alongside a roulette wheel.
Without boring everyone with match analysis - which only underlines what everyone's been saying now for some time - let's discuss a new mood abroad at the ground today. People are increasingly of the opinion Hughes is not the man for us. The tactics are wrong, team spirit is in decline, and with news of al Fayed's rant from Tuesday filtering out, our chairman and benefactor is ominously running out of patience.
The writing is on the wall. With nailed on defeats to come at the Emirates and Anfield in December, it's the bottom three by Christmas for last season's Europa Cup heroes.
On a positive note how refreshing was it to see Pantsil back in action today and bringing the ball out of defence with purpose. On the negative side, why would you want TWO right backs among the subs and not make room for at least one of your promising young reserves - a possible maverick 2nd half substitute - who might just pull a rabbit out of the hat? Dead ball delivery remains artless, Etuhu is no longer marauding up the other end, has he now been instructed to shore up the back? Where is the strategy to break teams down and score goals?
If captain Murphy is the 'heart of the team' then Fulham badly need a transplant. Up front this autumn, be it Kamara or the Johnsons, has repeatedly shown itself not to work. These three should be first out the exit door come January. A further barren run through December and Hughes may get there first...

Phil,
I understand wanting to rid the squad of E. Johnson and D. Kamara, but is it premature to cast of A.J.? While his touch has been off, it looks to me that his intensity is there. Also, where you do you see any of the offense coming from, the January transfer window? Roque Santa Cruz?
