The Blackburn boss has been shooting his mouth off, in the process inviting widespread mockery. Sending out teams with a pre-meditated strategy to deliberately foul goalkeepers also does him no credit.

The winless away streak on the road now stands at 20 with Rovers at home a tough nut to crack. Only one league win over Blackburn in eight and £20 million quids worth of strike talent sidelined. A real act of faith for those travelling to Ewood.

Brian McBride announced his retirement from football in the past few days. Fulham fans owe him an enormous debt of gratitude for helping preserve our Premiership status in trying times. It needed a big character to take over the shirt from 'King Louis,' Brian did just that.
