Only a point from our trip to the seaside means three played, three drawn and three points to date - not quite the return we would have liked for some enterprising football so far. But in truth we were lucky here to sneak away with a draw and sour the Tangerines return to the top flight.

Making no secret of the fact that he was hungry for signings to give the club more options, Mark Hughes has secured the services of AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele on a three year deal. Hughes told us he was thankful to have got his man. "It is important we add to the squad to compete at a consistently high level this season."

No surprise to see that our opening home game of the season against Manchester United is sold out. 27,500 will be packed inside the Cottage generating a fantastic atmosphere as we go hunting a third straight home win over the Reds.

Anticipation is building for the season opener this Saturday at the Reebok. An away win at Bolton, a side we've not lost to in our last six meetings, would make the perfect start to Hughes reign. It would also send out a clear message to fans that Fulham aim to be more ambitious on the road this campaign than under Roy.
